The royalton is a beautiful property with plenty of restaurants and bars. It was hard to reserve dining at some of the restaurants, but the buffet was always available.

Stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. Check in process was pretty simple and efficient. Had a little trouble with our desired choice of room but our Guest Relations Representative Juan De La Rosa was amazing from beginning to end. He always checked in on us and made sure our reservations were taken care of. The property has a lot of maintenance going on, so while that's great for future guests, it wasn't the best sight for our stay. However, once getting past the construction stage, the grounds are well kept and seem nice. Rooms have modern furniture for the most part but definitely need to be updated with fresh paint, lots of chipping and scratches all over, doesn't make or break the experience though. Pool was great and bartenders were extremely friendly. Ramon, Antonio, Westlein, Anthony were on top of their game. Service in the buffet was atrocious, could never find someone to fill water or soda or get an alcoholic beverage. Plates were constantly piling up with nobody bussing the tables. Service in the steakhouse and Italian were superb A+ on that. Also the best food on property hands down. Sports Bar was impossible to get served and property was consistently out of food such as lettuce for salads. The baristas in the cafe are amazing and super friendly. Thankfully there wasn't too many people roaming the pool and beach areas trying to sell you on things. Overall good price for the vacation, definitely areas to improve. Would recommend though.

I am a very frequent traveler, I enjoy the experience of staying in an all inclusive resort, this experience at the Punta Cana Royalton unfortunately wasn’t the best. I been to other countries and the service from the moment you walk in it’s amazing, keep in mind I’m 100% Dominican! The check-in process for me wasn’t the best, we had to wait longer than usual and staff members were not as friendly, rooms were not ready! I had 3 reservations including one at Hideaway which my brother loved and had no complaints ! Staff at Royalton aren’t the most pleasant, I felt like they pick and choose who they smile to and who they provide excellent service to, during my stay I felt my own people treat other better then their own Dominican family, everyone should be treated the same. Place was very clean, food was okay - the best was ZEN the hibachi restaurant including the service and staff they were amazing. It sucks I have to seat here and provide this feedback but it needs to be said! Thank you to the manager who at the end wanted our experience to be the best but unfortunately I was already disappointed and checking out !

Good afternoon. The e perience at the Hotel was excellent from the first day to the last. Mr. Jeifry Hechel, guest service representative, was outstanding, and he was attentive to us the entire time. He treated us twice as guest, first as Expidia guests and second, as Hotel guests. Thanks to you, everything turned out excellent.

The staff was awesome, our butter Noraiah was wonderful and always available when needed. We did not enjoy the Diamond club upgrade, not worth the money. We paid for the upgrade but did not get the room upgrade. Our drinks in the room and snacks were not left less we asked for them. My wife had diabetes and needed the extra things in our room and I had to ask for them every day, some days did not get them. The staff goes above and beyond for you. The food in the restaurants was not. Very good except for Zen which was flavorful and a good experience.

The property was nice and clean. Staff was great. The restaurants were good. I felt it lacked entertainment. I expected more music during the day by the pool. We arrived Friday not much entertainment that night or Saturday. On Monday they had an all white party which was ok. We pretty much entertained ourselves.
