This hotel was "good". The first things I look for are the quality of the employees and the cleanliness of the room. On both they did pretty well. However, we had two different bookings at this hotel for Aug 9 and Aug 12. Upon arriving on the 9th (at 1am), we were informed that they did not receive our booking from Travelocity (owned by Orbitz). I was offered "the only room available"; a smoking room. Unfortunately, due to allergies I could not put my family in a smoking room. Travelocity spent 90 minutes with me on the phone (until 2:30am) to find availability at another area hotel, which turned out to be two steps below this one. We had no troubles with our reservation for the 12th was. However, my friend who checked in next to me, choosing the same room option, paid 25% less at the desk than I had paid for mine. So for various reasons, from now on I will book directly with the hotel of my choosing.

Excellent hotel. This is not a fancy four star hotK, more of a three star hotel, still, very nice. Clean, safe, quiet.

Best thing is free shuttle ever twenty mins that takes you to the airport. Theres a train by the airport. No need to rent a car.

Don't stay here. Spend skittle more and avoid this hotel.

Hotel was convenient and served our needs, especially the 24/7 shuttle. Bathroom was not clean, used cosmetics were not replaced, waste was not emptied, but maid came next morning and did it.

Definitely not what my friends and I were expecting from this hotel. No elevator for luggage, bed sheets & towels were NOT clean.

The Ramada has a reliable shuttle service even though they are not represented on the hotel shuttle desk in the airport. I requested the gentleman in the info booth in the drop off/pick up area between the airport and the parking garage to call the hotel, which he did, and the van eventually arrived. My bathroom could have been cleaner but the room was large and comfortable. The pool area is pretty barren but the water was wet!

One of the beds was broken. I was promised a free breakfast when i booked but there wasnt one. Very hard to find.

Unprofessional, broken handles, spiders on the bed & wall, 2 decade old microwave junk, rude front desk guy doesnt know what is smile, will charge your card before you reach the hotel, dirty bed sheets, stayed there for 4 days, pool was out of service throughout no apologies, dont waste your money by looking good reviews if any big chain, worst hotel ever..

Dirty towels in room, and the bed appeared to not Have been changed as there were ash stains on the coverlet. Odd for a non smoking room.

It sucks! I complained about fridge and heater but no action was made. Smoking room did not have an ashtray. Tried to ask about ashtray but she replied I don't know if we can find one! For real???

This location is close to PDX, but has seen better days. It is in dire need of repair and upgrades. It is low-priced and you get what you pay for. Bed was comfortable enough. Room cleanlines was so-so. Heard two customers informing the front desk staff that rooms were not as clean as they had hoped for. My room had several burned out light bulbs and an accumulation of dust behind the dresser and night stands. Otherwise seemed clean. Plenty of hot water and good wifi connection. It was quiet even as close to the airport as it is. Parking can be a challenge as they also offer long-term airport parking. Late arrival from East Coast flight. No food or bar service after 10:00. Front desk short staffed and had to juggle between checking guests in and answering the phone repeatedly.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was ok just to lay your head but the hotel has not been updated since the early 80's. It has a musty smell, carpets are gross, shower made a weird loud noise when you used it and the bottom of it needed to be redone. Overall the ramada inn needs a huge renovation.

Dirty is an understatement. Rude check in as I was ignored while the guy belittled his coworker. No working elevator and I have a disability. When I said that I was told "there's only 12 stairs. Is there a problem?" Then the room... I couldn't even sit in a chair. There was glitter on everything! No screen in the door for fresh air, which was needed because the entire non smoking floor smelled like a bowling alley The floor was dirty carpet with lumps. Uneven flooring with a bad leg was unsafe. We slept in our clothes and left asap. As we tried to make coffee, the coffee maker was FILLED with mold. I said something at checkout and was given a blank stare and nothing was done. I requested the GM call me when he got in. Still waiting... I'm still traveling, but will call the health department.

Dingy room & hotel. Hotel room was dirty and old.

I would stay again for a night. If it had breakfast included I might stay a couple of days. Bed was very comfortable. Did have missing outlet cover behind bed and tub plug did not work! Over all worth what I paid and I have paid much higher for worse! 6 out of 10!

Prepaid for room on Orbitz. Front desk person said it wasn't a pre-paid room and proceeded to charge my card. I just cancelled with Orbitz because it was 12:30 am and I just wanted to go to sleep. Next morning there was some confusion about the charges. They thought I had paid via Orbitz. I had to go, I told them that wasn't the case and they had charged my card the previous night. I left with them agreeing to do that. I called later to follow up with manager next day, was sent to voicemail, l left message and never heard back. Called back next day, spoke with person who checked me out, he said manager told him to put a different charge on my card for more. Manager was out of office until Monday. Left message on Tuesday, still no call back. I cannot think of a worse experience with a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel while driving through Portland up to Seattle. We decided to go with this hotel because of the known franchise brand and its price. But oh did we make a mistake. Firstly, I booked a suite but at check-in they said they were all booked and its not "guaranteed" so I got a standard room. The heating in the room made a very loud grinding noise when turned on. The front desk said all they can do is give me a space heater... Since all the rooms are booked. The space heater looked like it was taken out of a machine shop in the 60s. The staff seemed to be agitated and short tempered. The general condition of the hotel was appalling! It is literally falling apart. Very moldy musky hallways, leaking windows and very outdated rooms. See the attached pictures. Thankfully Orbitz was awesome and they tried helping out and offered to send me to an alternative hotel. But it was pouring rain and our baby already fell asleep, so there's no way we could move. But many thanks to Akash from Orbitz CS for being very accommodating and helpful.

I rarely write reviews but this two night stay was unacceptable. We requested a first floor unit but got a second floor. The halls outside on both floors smelled of tobacco. The carpets were old and stained. The room had two queen beds, a desk, a desk chair, a small round table and two hard back chairs. Plus a dresser. There was hardly any room to walk around the beds. The flat screen tv's stand was broken and sat at an angle. The heater was loud. The final insult to this stay were the beds and bedding. The bed had a poorly fitting bottom sheet, a top sheet, a thin, thin blanket and then another top sheet. The pillows were lumpy and hard. The sheets looked thin and thread bare. The bathroom was clean, however, the complimentary coffee pot was on the counter next to the sink by the toilet! Really? Right where you blow dry your hair! The lighting in the bath was dingy. Hotels should, if they do nothing else, have bedding fit the bed, and upgrade the linens once they become thread bare!

The hotel was comfortable enough, and it's a good lower price option near the airport. But the facility needs updating. It all looks worn.
