Dirty towels in room, and the bed appeared to not Have been changed as there were ash stains on the coverlet. Odd for a non smoking room.

It sucks! I complained about fridge and heater but no action was made. Smoking room did not have an ashtray. Tried to ask about ashtray but she replied I don't know if we can find one! For real???

This location is close to PDX, but has seen better days. It is in dire need of repair and upgrades. It is low-priced and you get what you pay for. Bed was comfortable enough. Room cleanlines was so-so. Heard two customers informing the front desk staff that rooms were not as clean as they had hoped for. My room had several burned out light bulbs and an accumulation of dust behind the dresser and night stands. Otherwise seemed clean. Plenty of hot water and good wifi connection. It was quiet even as close to the airport as it is. Parking can be a challenge as they also offer long-term airport parking. Late arrival from East Coast flight. No food or bar service after 10:00. Front desk short staffed and had to juggle between checking guests in and answering the phone repeatedly.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was ok just to lay your head but the hotel has not been updated since the early 80's. It has a musty smell, carpets are gross, shower made a weird loud noise when you used it and the bottom of it needed to be redone. Overall the ramada inn needs a huge renovation.

Dirty is an understatement. Rude check in as I was ignored while the guy belittled his coworker. No working elevator and I have a disability. When I said that I was told "there's only 12 stairs. Is there a problem?" Then the room... I couldn't even sit in a chair. There was glitter on everything! No screen in the door for fresh air, which was needed because the entire non smoking floor smelled like a bowling alley The floor was dirty carpet with lumps. Uneven flooring with a bad leg was unsafe. We slept in our clothes and left asap. As we tried to make coffee, the coffee maker was FILLED with mold. I said something at checkout and was given a blank stare and nothing was done. I requested the GM call me when he got in. Still waiting... I'm still traveling, but will call the health department.

Dingy room & hotel. Hotel room was dirty and old.

I would stay again for a night. If it had breakfast included I might stay a couple of days. Bed was very comfortable. Did have missing outlet cover behind bed and tub plug did not work! Over all worth what I paid and I have paid much higher for worse! 6 out of 10!

Prepaid for room on Orbitz. Front desk person said it wasn't a pre-paid room and proceeded to charge my card. I just cancelled with Orbitz because it was 12:30 am and I just wanted to go to sleep. Next morning there was some confusion about the charges. They thought I had paid via Orbitz. I had to go, I told them that wasn't the case and they had charged my card the previous night. I left with them agreeing to do that. I called later to follow up with manager next day, was sent to voicemail, l left message and never heard back. Called back next day, spoke with person who checked me out, he said manager told him to put a different charge on my card for more. Manager was out of office until Monday. Left message on Tuesday, still no call back. I cannot think of a worse experience with a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel while driving through Portland up to Seattle. We decided to go with this hotel because of the known franchise brand and its price. But oh did we make a mistake. Firstly, I booked a suite but at check-in they said they were all booked and its not "guaranteed" so I got a standard room. The heating in the room made a very loud grinding noise when turned on. The front desk said all they can do is give me a space heater... Since all the rooms are booked. The space heater looked like it was taken out of a machine shop in the 60s. The staff seemed to be agitated and short tempered. The general condition of the hotel was appalling! It is literally falling apart. Very moldy musky hallways, leaking windows and very outdated rooms. See the attached pictures. Thankfully Orbitz was awesome and they tried helping out and offered to send me to an alternative hotel. But it was pouring rain and our baby already fell asleep, so there's no way we could move. But many thanks to Akash from Orbitz CS for being very accommodating and helpful.

I rarely write reviews but this two night stay was unacceptable. We requested a first floor unit but got a second floor. The halls outside on both floors smelled of tobacco. The carpets were old and stained. The room had two queen beds, a desk, a desk chair, a small round table and two hard back chairs. Plus a dresser. There was hardly any room to walk around the beds. The flat screen tv's stand was broken and sat at an angle. The heater was loud. The final insult to this stay were the beds and bedding. The bed had a poorly fitting bottom sheet, a top sheet, a thin, thin blanket and then another top sheet. The pillows were lumpy and hard. The sheets looked thin and thread bare. The bathroom was clean, however, the complimentary coffee pot was on the counter next to the sink by the toilet! Really? Right where you blow dry your hair! The lighting in the bath was dingy. Hotels should, if they do nothing else, have bedding fit the bed, and upgrade the linens once they become thread bare!

The hotel was comfortable enough, and it's a good lower price option near the airport. But the facility needs updating. It all looks worn.

Hotel is old but maintained. Can hear the planes passing by, bad if you're a light sleeper. Staff was ok. Only comment is the bathroom. Knobs were old and rusty, hard to turn open and drain was clogged.

Just don't. 1. Heater doesn't work. Portland is cold. Go figure. Damien at the front desk said there is a trick. I'm not interested in tricks. 2. Bathroom was covered in hair. 3. Sheets had burn holes 4. General manager and entire staff disrespectful Do not stay here.

I had a horrible experience. The check in guy was professional and nice. The room was garbage. They stuck two twins together and called that a king mattress. There was hair in the tub and in the ice bucket. I was awoken at 9:00am by housekeeping pounding on the door. Mind you, check out is 12:00pm. I answered the door to find a housekeeper telling me "you leave now" I was like excuse me? She said she needed to clean the room. I told her it's 9am and checkout isn't until 12. I attempted to go back to sleep, only to be woken up by housekeeping pounding on the door non stop at 11am. I answered the door and the housekeeper asked when I was leaving. This happened on a previous trip at this hotel. Checkout is at noon, not 9am or 11am. The staff couldn't have been more rude. I paid for the room, I should be able to sleep in. I will never stay at this hotel again. I have stayed here numerous times, but will go out of my way to avoid this place. If hotels want business, then train your staff to do their job and not harass guests.

I'd not come back to this place, it was very dirty and noisy and hard to find.

The hotel needs a serious upgrade. The room doors slam loudly every time one enters or leaves. The atria have no aesthetic appeal, albeit winter. Our room was above one of the outdoor parking lots - we woke the last night we were there to a man screaming at 2a.m. on the cell phone for at least an hour. I could not get back to sleep. There is a dinginess in many areas I observed. There was also leftover cleaning buckets around to catch the leaking ceiling drops? I got the feeling it had had its happy times and now no one cares. Incidentally, there is a lovely well kept Radisson across the street. Very sad.

Room was old, hallway wrench of smoke even though it said non smoking. Bath tub stopper wouldn't work. Lumpy pillows. Old everything, but it was a bed and thats all i needed.

Shower facet not working well. Difficult to turn on hot water.

Overall, this is good hotel with afforable price. They have big room and quiet environment. Especially, the hotel is near shopping mall and good restaurant. However, the parking spot is very hard to find later at night. Cars park every where. I think the hotel should assign a specific parking spot per room in order to avoid non-hotel customers parking.

Ramada maintains their facilities well, but it is quite dated. If you are on business like I was and just wanted to stay close to the airport at a reasonable cost and you are not concerned with the aesthetics, then this place is fine. I plan to stay there again, the cost was very reasonable.
