The room was NOT like the photos. Carpet, bathroom etc needs to be repaired and updated. Shower/tub was gross.
A little noisy with the train, but not thier fault.
Good place to stay at one night.
The property is conveniently located off I84 near the convention center and across the river from the Pearl District. It’s a cheaper option. Unfortunately, it still needs major updates- beds were uncomfortable, carpet was stained in many places, bathroom has no exhaust fan.
Staff was great. You can tell they are trying to update an old hotel.
We just stayed for one short night to go to a concert so we didnt spend much time there but the hotel is okd and run down. The rooms were in decent shape though, the bed was comfortable enough, good water pressure, etc. There was no coffee in the loby which was unusual for a hotek but its right in a bad part of town with a huge homeless population so the parking lot seemed sort of unsafe. But they did have a security guy walking around at night so that was good.
Street Noise from Streetcar, A bit old and dark, BUT VERY CLEAN! Check in Staff were great. They need to offer a breakfast on site asap.
If you just need a place to stay for a couple nights then this place is serviceable. Photos are a bit misleading as the hotel itself is very outdated and desperately needs major updating. However, the staff was very friendly and easy going. Main thing to be aware of is the noise. If noise from the street or fellow guests bothers you than this place is absolutely not for you. You will hear traffic and the MAX. You will hear your neighbors.
The location was very good for my trip, across the convention center.
This location is in the center of the Rose District, max train is right there as well as Lloyd Center, walking is very easy and safety as well as beauty is all around.
This place is a noisy dump — nose clips for the smells and ear plugs for the noise of the public transport train that runs right outside your window will help. The lobby is seedy and the staff look and act like they walked in off the street. Two pluses: it’s cheap and right next to the convention center. Oh yes, walk outside and the train is almost at your doorstep for low cost transportation around the city.
The room was clean, and the front desk guy so nice!
The staff was professional and kind. The building and room was quite run down.
The room was clean. Close to everything. Great location for the convention center. Parking is good. Just didn't like that fact that we had to pay so much for privilege to park.
Bathroom was not very clean in our room. There was also a fly in our coffee.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Public areas a little dated, but fine in this price range. THe only issue is a bit too much street noise form the tram. Tolerable if you're used to city noise, but probably bothersome if you are used to country quiet. Could use sound insulating windows and glass doors on the street side.

Thanks for staying with us Linda. We appreciate your feedback! We took the coffee out of the lobby due to covid related issues.

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback. With our central location and ease of access to the city it can be a noisy area especially if you aren't used to the sounds of the city. We are looking to do some major renovations in the near future to update the property and rectify these issues.
