Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Portland Airport

The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious which was great for a family of five which includes three teenagers. The restaurant at the hotel is convenient and the food was pretty good with the prices around $10 a meal.

I can't say enough about this hotel! Perfect stay, great amenities, staff, and shuttle service. Definitely recommend!!

Kids loved the pool and so did I as the water was warm! Yummy breakfast, lots to choose from. We stayed there so that we didn't have to get up so early to get my brother to the airport, so nice that he could take the shuttle!

Staff above expectations. Renovating so restaurant closed. Shuttle dropped me at a restaurant..but I had to go to a central meeting place to be picked up...even though I was only guest on the shuttle. Hot tub needs cleaned.

The room was freshly painted and felt brand new. It was the best room I have yet stayed in, and the price was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well.

Front desk staff was very accommodating to our late-night arrival. They upgraded us to a suite since we had three kids and two adults. Breakfast was delicious and filling with a variety of foods (cereal, fruit, mini omelettes, sausage, waffles, juice, coffee, pastries). The room was comfortable. Shuttle service to and from the airport was prompt and smooth. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at this charming Inn. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The complimentary 9AM breakfast was cozy and a lifesaver; it included fresh fruit. The restaurant/bar opens at 4PM and serves basic american fare; we enjoyed French Onion soup. There is a gym, but I did not get a chance to use it. The Inn is a nicely situated "homebase" near the airport and freeways and it seemed only 20 min by car from anywhere in Portland. The staff were 5-Star. We will definitely stay here when we return to Portland.

Plumbing needs work. Stool was improperly installed and was loose and rocked. We were in a handicapped equiped room. Shower base had no lip and drained onto floor.

Convient location, easy access to highways getting you in and out of city.

The staff were very nice, room amenities were good, BUT, the hotel seems to be right under the flight path of jets taking off. Every 15 minutes a deafening roar pulled me out of sleep. Pretty miserable night.

Not the best Country Inns and Suites that I've stayed in. The evenings ladies worked the front desk they were quite pleasant. The man who was at the front desk one evening was not pleasant, to put it kindly. The only sign the room had been housekeeping was made beds and fresh towels. Dirty breakfast dishes were still in the room and no coffee packets had been left; which meant going down to the front desk for coffee. The bathroom had spots of black mold on the ceiling. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast offering was fantastic, and an evening dinner service was a pleasant surprise.

Great location, easy access to freeways. Breakfast is nice.

We stayed one night to help make our early morning flight easier. Hotel is very clean and pleasant atmosphere. We had fish and chips in the restaurant and thought it was good. Shuttle to the airport was quick and on time. Would stay again in the future if need to.

We needed a place to stay the night before an early morning flight. Only one night so we chose the family room with 2 queen beds. Room was spacious and very clean. Pool was a nice way to pass some time and also clean with supply of VERY TINY towels! In hotel restaurant was convenient as we had already returned rental car. Shuttle to airport was prompt.

Compare with many other hotels that I pay this price I found this hotel way too old. The hall way carpet is too old. The bed should be replaced. This hotel should be rated as Travelodge type. I am ashamed to have booked this hotel for my guests.

Great staff, nice quality breakfast included, close to airport, clean, lots of amenities. I think the Best Western Meadows, had nicer furnishings and room design/spaciousness but this one had more amenities (like a fitness room) and a better breakfast buffet.

I stayed overnight, just to catch an early plane. The hotel was nice, the room was nice, the staff person who checked me in was annoying. I was very tired so my perception is skewed and she may have tried to be extra nice given how tired I must have appeared, but still didn't make it.

It was wonder, the room is spacious. The shower pressure is grand.

It was a wonderful stay. The food was not as good as the staff said it was. Staff was very nice and cordial and we would stay again.

We experienced some bump. Staff blamed the third party reservations. Stayed here for the parking call before stay to verify parking was told upon arrival that parking was closed reason why was sketchy after referring the neighboring hotel manager ok'd parking. Placed us in 4th floor room with one bed had to relocate to 1st floor room. Shuttle to and from airport was great.
