Hotel is dated, but the rooms and hotel is clean. The security is a bit overwhelming (every floor is secured by card). The bathroom in our room was very small. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful for our group. Views were mostly of the city, but the location was very good/central within walking distance of great restaurants / shopping.

It's was my first time living in the St Germain (always stayed at St Honore stretch) and I must say that I am properly sold on this quaint neighbourhood that makes such a good base to explore Paris out of! [Read: you literally just need to cross the road to the Subway's entrance] It is also a stone's throw away from Le Bon Marche. Rooms were big for parisian standards, and the furniture were well thought out to unpack our luggages. They definitely looked refreshed and new as well! There was a particular picture on the Expedia application that showed an old picture of the lobby (which was concerning to me) - but fret not, their lobby is refreshed with a new but rustic vibe; directly connected to a bistro /restaurant with the same rustic theme
