The true jems of the Peninsula are the staff. While I was initially disappointed that a room with 2 beds wasn’t available, I believe the staff did everything they could to resolve the problem. The front desk team stayed calm and was empathetic to my frustration. Giovanni stepped in to make things better, which I deeply appreciated. This hotel is insanely expensive, but people go to have an experience that is priceless, and the staff made that happen for me. Even Diego at the bar helped keep our stay on track by serving great coctails and stories. I am happy and will return to this landmark hotel.

It was very nice. The room was warm even trying to have the thermostat down as low as possible.

The staff was excellent throughout our stay. When a Parade made it difficult for transportation to the airport, they took our luggage to an accessible location one block away. When our Carmel Limo service (booked through Orbitz) left us stranded, the bell-man stuck with us and found us alternative transportation. We are from a smaller midwestern town and he was very understanding.

Overall a beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Room was a little smaller than I expected but was clean, comfortable and quiet. Disappointed by the lack of view from the room, for the price I was hoping for some type of view.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful but I have stayed at nicer hotels for less money. If you are interested in doing major designer shopping this would be a great option but it was a bit inconvenient for some of my activities and there are surprisingly few ubers in the area, so I would have to walk a few blocks just for my uber driver. This was a very nice hotel but I won't stay here for my next NYC trip due to its location. (Which is great but not what I'm looking for.)

Such a great experience! I’m sure we were on the lower end of their client list but we NEVER felt that way!! We were treated with utmost respect and accommodations were incredible!! Room was awesome, so were all staff! Greeted by every associate when we walked past them. Concierge staff excellent, especially Dana!! Made our trip so special for us! Attention to detail is her special.

Location, service, quietness, freshness, all good. Use of house car service great perk, when available. Staff exceptional. Centrally located for tourists especially.

(Wanted to add my photos to my review) This was a most wonderful trip and the Peninsula Hotel was our perfect choice. Our room was right on 5th Avenue and serene and comforting at night. We would surely pick this hotel for our next trip to NYC. Thanks to the whole staff for outstanding hospitality.
