Hotel lobby was super nice. However the time you check in you will be charged $31 + tax hotel fee every night. Only two to serve 8 floors on each side. For 4 night i used the elevator only twice because you will wait at least 20 minutes tell you get in. If you are lucky like me where i stayed in the 5th floor yoy can use the stairs. There is no vending machine anywhere or mini bar in the room. You cave to go to their market in the lobby to get water " make sure to make it there before 9pm or you need to get ready to go out of the hotel to get water. I have been to over 19 countries this one was the worst i have ever stayed at. By the way if you complain about anything they will offer you a complimentary drink "not solving the problems" forget it about it and find 3 stars motel will serve you better

Not worth the money they charge. The staff at the front desk were so rude! And had to get new room keys three times in two days (and I made sure to keep it away from cell phone and everything else!). Not even a coffee maker in the room.

I enjoyed my stay at the Park Central very much. It's a great location, it's clean, quiet and well connected. I will stay there again.

No suprises. Everything was as expected. Nicelobby and good bar.

Great hotel, nice rooms and great location. Enjoyed every day and really liked the corner room view of the city.

Good location, bare foot print on bathroom floor and a quarter on the floor by the toilet tells me bathroom was not cleaned fully. Paid full price plus premium for corner and didn't even get a bottle of water or have enough towels. View was nothing special. Housekeeping opened door at 7:50am but luckily we had bar lock on it. Stayed 4 days at Crowne Plaza down the street in August and it was much nicer and less expensive.

I stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was much cleaner. Now they have let the place ran down. The elevator floors are worn out and need refinishing. The Carpet in the hall way and the rooms need to be replaced. There were several stain marks on the floor of my room. There were plaque and other gunk build-up in the bathroom, especially in the sink. Truly this should be a 2.5 star hotel.

easy and fast check-in, helpful staff, nice lounge to rest and enjoy a cocktail after a day of sightseeing.

Very close to Time Square and Central Park. Subways are very close and very easy to figure out. Concierge Ashley was AMAZING with helping teach us the subway system and to give us suggestions on sight seeing.

Nice, recently renovated hotel; helpful courteous staff

This hotel is in a great location easy walking distance to the theaters, great restaurants, and central park. Also easy access to metro line to Battery Park and areas in between. Did not have a lot of interaction with staff but it was easy to check-in and staff even accommodated my friend and I by changing our room from a king to two queens. Room size was adequate (bathroom was very spacious) didn't have a great view but we were not in the room very much. Bed was very comfortable and even thou our room was right across from the elevators the room was fairly quite (except sirens from the street).

Some staff not so friendly. Housekeeper great!! Bars open late close early.

This hotel is awesome, excellent location, facilities and staff... However, upon check out I got charged with a "Facilities Fee" for stuff that I DID NOT EVEN USED (phone service, gym usage, parking) and for one that I did used such as the Wi-Fi. Orbitz says that we have free internet but this is not true on this hotel. Just included this fee on the room rate instead because it is a terrible business decision to charge separate and apart from the room rate without regard for usage.

Staff is not courteous, often rude. The rooms have no coffee makers, and the only place to buy coffee is the tiny guest shop in the lobby which is overcrowded in the morning and can take 15 minutes to fill your order. Our room had no heat in the bathroom and no vent. So the bathroom was freezing and then covered in steam after taking a shower. The elevators get very backed up and there is often a wait line to return to your room.The hotel is in a great location, however. Just not the ideal choice for me.

I recommend this hotel because I like everything about it. The room are small but confortables. Nice bathroom with a good space. Many places to eat around the hotel. Walking distance to broadway, fifth avenue, Rockefeller center, Columbus circus, saint patrick etc. The only thing that I didn't like about the hotel were the elevators, they were very crowed and always you have to wait in line to get in. I guess NYC at this time of the year is specially full of people. Overall it was a very nice experience.

We (a family of four) booked two rooms, and asked to be on the same floor. Since the hotel didn't have both rooms on the same floor, they gave us an upgrade for one of the rooms from Classic to Premier. The room is spacious and the bed was comfortable. What we liked the most is the location -- not in the heart of Times Square but very close to many attractions. We will definitely come back here and we recommend the Premier Room.

This is a great hotel, with fine staff and very modern, comfortable and clean rooms. The only drawback is the elevators. Four small capacity elevators that serve many floors. It can get crowded around checkout, dinner and breakfast times.

Great Location!!! Check in and out staff were a little rude and elevators always packed but everything else was perfect.

The hotel was very nice and made the Christmas trip to NYC very enjoyable. We will definitely return to this location!
