Great location and price. But the rooms were too small.

I ended up leaving this property after being there for an one hour. It is dirty. Staff are rude. I asked for a refund and they only gave me 10% off. I was so fed up that I ended up having to pay double the price and leaving after finding hair on the floor and residue on the walls. It may look like a bargain- but you get what you pay for!

It is very convenient to travel different places. I really like the lounge area.

Great location for the price. No elevator. Great staff. I will Be Back.

Everything was excellent, clean and friendly, but facilities are tiny.

Tiny hotel in a noisy area. I showed up at 4:30 to check in and my room still wasn't ready even though check in is at 3:00. Service at the front desk was extremely slow. Lots of car horns and sirens going off all hours of the day and night. Certainly not worth $300 per night. I do not recommend at all.

No elevator, no blanket only a dingy bedspread, one small thin towel, shower curtain too small to contain the water, shower drain filthy. Location proximity to Penn Station and the garden is fabulous and a quick walk to some interesting Chelsea restaurants and attractions. Staff is very nice but the facility is not.

nothing what I had expected. Never will stay again. toilet leaked and never stopped running. bed was hard as a rock and the sheets looked dirty.

No toilet paper in the room when we arrived, had to call multiple times to get fresh towels, stain on toilet seat and comforter when we first arrived, bed was as hard as a rock, and we had a cockroach in our room. The location of the hotel was great and for a good price; however, we will not be staying here again.

This hotel is located in nice location; its only few blocks away from the k-town & only one block away from the penn station. The hotel front desk is super nice, but the room condition weren't that great. When we checked into the first room, the secondary lock didn't work, and two girls traveling new york, and even though the front desk said that this building has security 24/7, we wanted a room with locks that actually work, so we requested a room change. The second room that we got had the same size bed, but the room was about the half the size of the first room and had no desk & chair nor a at least small closet. Also, the front door wasn't locked at night or have card access, and I often found that there were no one at the front desk. The room was clean and the front desk staffs were nice but they didn't seem to know what was in the each room (I heard the maintenance guy saying that the first room didn't lock since this hotel opened). Other than that, my stay at this hotel was very nice. So long story short, I feel like these are things that some people might not care about when booking a hotel, but if I were you I would just pay few extra bucks and go to franchise hotel. Oh and also, I thought that the picture of the room in orbitz didn't really match, they have few different styles of same bed rooms, but have only one photo.

When I arrived in the morning to ask the staff to keep my luggage before I could check in at 3pm, I was at first enchanted by the friendly service. I was also very happy with the warm service when I came to check in later on. My first disappointment was that I had to walk four floors up to my room as there was no elevators (I didn't check prior to booking so this one's my fault), but the employee graciously helped me and carried my luggage upstairs. The list of disappointments started to get longer and longer when I entered the room. Of course at this price I was expecting it to be very small, this is no matter, but the toilet was running, the floor didn't look exactly clean, there were no paper tissue available (only toilet paper). Also, the sink was very small and there wasn't any counter space around it, so I had nowhere to put my toiletries but on the bed. I might be forgetting something, but all in all, this was extremely basic and for the rate I paid, I was hoping for a bit more convenience. Thanks again to the staff for the cordial welcome. Unfortunately I will not recommend the hotel to friends, nor use it again.

My partner and I came here for NYC Pride Sunday. On the way to the hotel they call me and tell me my room is over booked and they wanted to relocate me to a hotel further south of Manhatten which was impossible to get to bc of the parade and roads being closed. It was very inconvenient but I still made other accommodations to stay in the same area. They still charged me and wouldn't refund me bc I didn't give them a 48 hour notice even thought they over booked my room?! The manager never called me back and even though this was their mistake they wanted us to pay for it. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

My daughter was not feeling well and staff was extremely accomodating.

Great location, but the bathroom was very small, and the staff and service were not very kind

Really small room in midtown with one of the most uncomfortable beds i have ever slept in. otherwise it was fine for a short stay

Stayed at the Manhattan West Hotel for two nights. It was a last minute booking as decided to stay an extra few nights in the city. Good location walkable to many things (downtown, midtown, The Higline, Penn Station). Staff were very friendly. Fairly good value price wise as well. Small rooms, no closet area, no safe for valuables, no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. Very noisy at night due to its location on 8th Ave.
