Friendly, accommodating staff. Truly a gem . Booked by a relative and I had my doubts (small hotel, etc but I was very pleasantly surprised! I would definitely return to this hotel.

I came late because i was in the Lenox hill hospital for my daughter's delivery. The receptionist just simply told me that i was late therefore i CANNOT check in, i CANNOT get a room and didn't try to help me in any way. This was the most awful experience i have ever had. I was thrown out on the street, in New york city in the middle of the night. And they told me that i have to pay for that!

No frills place. Shower was so small i couldnt turn without touching the walls. Shower floors were dirty and bed and bedding was filled with hairs of all kind. Limited television channels.

I picked this hotel because of location to my sons new apartment. Check in went quickly. However, we had to wait 10-15 minutes for elevator. Only one elevator for guests and employees. In addition, elevator so small that employee with a cart of dirty towels takes up entire elevator. Hallways are small and claustrophobic. When we walked into room, we were shocked. I know NYC is tight on space, but the room was just a queen size bed and bureau and there was barely a foot on each side. Closet was tiny as well. Between us and our 2 suitcases, there was no room. Service was fine, nothing exceptional. For the rate we paid, we should have sayed a few blocks down at something larger and nicer.

Elevator broken, tiny room, very dirty windows and that all for round $400 a night?? You can't be serious. Really disappointing. When I asked for a discount I got as an answer that the manager was absent. That seemed to me a lame excuse.

This hotel was reasonably priced and generally well maintained. The room was really small, but not unusual for New York.

Best feature is location. Close to Central Park, Museum of Natural History, nice restaurants, Lincoln Center.. staff is super friendly too. Breakfast is basic and served in a really small saloon, so it gets messy in peak hours. The queen bedroom is tiny, and it was where my husband and I were originally booked, and had to upgrade for like $10/night to a king bedroom for comfort and more space. All in all it was a pleasant stay for a decent price, specially during the holidays.

Great location. 1/2 block from Central Park in a neighborhood setting. Motel-like accommodation but I don't go to New York to spend time at a hotel so the money saved was just right for me.

we have good experience especial good benefit the breakfast

1block to subway. 1 block to Central Park. Bed VERY comfy. Small room but typical for NY. One elevator that was very slow and hot! Breakfast was good but usually ran out of food before 10 am. Staff would just say"sorry it's gone". Long line to make waffles and not enough seats in breakfast room. Overall, , it was ok for the price.

The room is small but it was perfect. Clean, comfy the view was nice. We were able to open the window and get a breeze. The location is close to a lot of places and tons of places to eat.

We spent a night in Manhattan and the room was perfect to sleep in. Staff friendly, check in and out very easy. Breakfast was a plus. Small room, no chair, but a comforable queesn bed and T.V. To sleep prechance to dream. We left with money in our pocket vs. high proced places to sleep.

This is a great hotel!I would of gave it 5 ⭐ But the room is a little small. The bed was comfy and the shower great. It was nice to be on a street with less traffic.I will stay here again.

The location of this hotel was excellent! The staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was clean and well maintained.

Excellent location and services. The room is smaller but comfortable and everything cleaned

Stayed 1 week, needed xtra day due to flight cancel and hotel jacked rate $100 for one night so had to move to another much nicer laquinta for $100 less. Must not value me as ustomer have stayed many times at this location.

Nice room. A bit small, but fit my needs (traveling solo).

Great stay, close to the park and all the sites. Breakfast included came in handy. Nice overall experience. Would stay again.

The location was great! Staff very friendly. Room was clean with an incredible view. Just 1/2 block from Central Park and Strawberry Fields. 2 subway stations nearby. Plenty of restaurants, markets and stores just around the corner.

Allow me to apologize on behalf of our hotel for failing to meet your expectations on your recent visit. Unfortunately we did experience some difficulty with our elevator but got it back up and running.
