The lobby might make you think the hotel is going to be without any style, but it's really fine. The rooms are small, but clean and QUIET. The shower was strong and no problem with the hot water. The breakfast is actually good. There was a wide selection of food available. The cinnamon buns were warm and something you'd only eat with an excuse. A problem is that the location of the hotel is a little sketchy and could be scary to out of towners, but it's really a fine block. The elevator is slow and there are a lot of people and staff all trying to use it at the same time. Overall, it's well worth the price.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Experience was great.

Our stay was great, good price, good location, very clean, breakfast needs to be later than 930.

Great hotel if your driving to city. They are right by the Lincoln tunnel so if your not sure about driving and where to park they will vallet. Also, only a two-3 block walk to time square

I never stay in a "hotel" like this i call this tel because is less than a motel. this place is nasty i have about 60+ stay in Holidays Inn and i never stay in a place like this from all the member that work at the "hotel" only 3 people treat us good the rest of them need to go back to school. who ever is reading this review trust me don't stay in this holidays inn you wont have a good experience! i have a lot of picture is in my camara if you need them please ask i will put them on .

Very clean rooms! Clean hotel. Staff friendly. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Would have liked hotel shuttle service to other parts of the city not as accessible by walking. Also, vending machines on the floors were outdated, out of various snacks and occasionally did not work properly (lost money trying to buy a can of soda). Overall, would come back. Thank you.

pro: free WiFi, clean rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, great city view, easy parking (valet or self park across the street for $50 including tax for 2 nights with a SUV), lots on great bars and restaurants in walking distance, Lincoln tunnel is less than 1 block away, nice water pressure in the shower and the temperature in the room was easy to control and maintain a constant temperature (not too loud either) cons: Very small rooms but what do you except for NYC.

This hotel is on 39th which doesn't look like a great part of town. Lobby and breakfast area are quite basic but clean. Space constrained around elevators which gets crowded. Rooms are small but clean. Still a good value at $105 but I wouldn't want to be there a week.

this was a family trip to New York, I wanted to stay as close to Times Square as possible. We were on a budget. for the money and the location the trip was ok.. the room was too small for my taste but then again we were in New York.. i was ready for a small room.. the biggest dissapointment was the view: i could only see the building next to us and the elevators were soooo slow. hallways were small also. what made the trip worth it (other than the location) was the free breakfast and the staff in general which was very helpful. If you're not worried about the space and just want to be in New york, save some money. stay at this Hotel. just don't bring too many people over. we were 5 and a child. but everyone was fine with it. we had a great time. don't forget to try the pizza from one of the pizza places on the main street.. NY pizzas are the best!!

This hotel has a nice location. It's only a few blocks off the beaten path, but it is overpriced in my opinion. For a few dollars more you can get a hotel with the nice big lobby and bellman and bigger room. In fact, on my last visit to NYC I paid a lot less in a much nicer hotel right in the middle of the action. Our room was extremely small, but it was clean and the staff was very nice. The other downside was the very slow elevators. You could wait quite awhile for an elevator. If you stay there I would recommend that you either stay on floors 30 or higher so the elevators aren't full when you are trying to go down or the lower floors where you can take the stairs. The other plus for this hotel was complimentary breakfast. It isn't great but it will get you by without having to pay for breakfast, and the staff in the breakfast room were excellent!

The staff that helped me with check in was helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed and respected. The room was huge with a king bed and a beautiful view as we were on the 30th floor. The room was spotless. It was a great experience and highly recommended!

I have stayed at s number of posh hotels in NYC and was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The only issue I had was the elevators were being repaired which meant long waits for an elevator. The staff handled the problem superbly! The manager on duty Erica was AMAZING!!!!

If it were not for the great staff, it would have been an uncomfortable experience,

This hotel was conveniently located to bus station and TS. Very nice staff and room was larger than normal for NYC

hotel was ok. it was narrow and tall building. i can hear the next room talking. the staffs are good.

i would come back to this hotel and this hotel only in times square. very affordable for what you get!

This was a great location, close to Tomes Square for a short 1 night stay. Of course, rooms are small, but to be expected. They had a nice offering of hot chocolate at night in lobby. Great option is the comp breakfast. Good for a light breakfast if like me, you just need a snack. There was cereal, yogurt, breads. My daughter tried their pancake machine and said it was inedible. There was not any fruit, but could still find enough for anyone to choose from.

Great location to walk to times square. Conveniently located near the subway.

I was in town visiting for the day but decided last minute to stay. I looked at a few other hotels and this one seemed the best. Im glad I stayed here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. They use bath and body works products, which is nice and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely go back

This hotel was wonderful!!! the staff is the best, hotel was very clean. I would recommend this hotel in a minute!!!!
