Hampton Inn Times Square North

We stayed here and loved it that Wicked was basically right across the street and Phantom and Lion King were just a 10 to 15 minute walk away. We felt safe and loved the room. Breakfast was good too. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have a refrigerator in the room for dinner leftovers.

Had a good visit. Staff was friendly and accommodating

good experience to stay at Hampton Inn Times Square North Hotel

Had a great stay here. Good location, friendly staff

From check in, my experience was horrible. I booked a King Suite and the hotel places me in a room with two Queen beds. I asked why wasn't I receiving the room that I booked, I was told that they didn't have anymore King Suites available. I booked my room way in advance, so I'm confused as to why I wasn't getting what I paid for? Then the sink was clogged. I was moved to another two Queen room that was Handicap Accessible, so that meant no tub. When I went to speak with a manager before checkout, I was told that they couldn't do anything but extend my checkout for my inconvenience. They said that booking through Orbitz wasn't a guaranteed room of my choice. This is unacceptable.

I called twice to speak with the front desk to confirm that I could pay cash on arrival and leave a credit card for a small deposit. I was told yes, however I was called the day of arrival while traveling to be told that I had to pay the first night on the card or I would lose the room. Then once I finally arrived, I couldn't pay cash because the only person that can take cash is the manager. The housekeeper kept leaving our room window open and it was 27 degrees in NY so I room was always freezing when we returned. One elevator was down during our stay.

Great location, experience with staff and cleanliness with room and overall hotel "Great"!!!

We've stayed at this hotel twice and absolutely love it! It's a stone's throw from Gershwin Theater and close to numerous other attractions. Wonderful staff, too.

Great location with easy walking distance access to the subway, shops, restaurants and time square. Free breakfast (hot or cold options) which was good overall. If you can't stay for a sit down breakfast they offer little brown bag breakfast to-go options... which came in hand for me one of the morning. There is also 24h access to coffee, hot chocolate or tea with a bowl of apples. Overall, quiet stay. Rooms are a good size with comfy beds. I had no problems at all. I would definitely stay here again

Went shopping, saw a show and sightseeing. Right where you would want to be

Very pleased with hotel but parking is another matter. It was 47 a night but you could not move the car or they would charge an additional day.

Overall a good location to all activities. Breakfasts were good and staff were very helpful. However, rooms were just generally cold. When we arrived, the window was open in one of our rooms and the wind was blowing the curtains straight out. Bathroom floor was so cold had to put towels down. When the heat came on, it created a substantial noise. Some mold in bathroom behind door between door and tub near floor.

No issues, everything was very good. Breakfast area could be improved by enlarging it.

The amneties that Orbitz indicated during booking were not actually available in the hotel. Wifi was only free for the first night.

Rooms are clean. Easy subway access, near to time square and places we wanted to go eat...

Hotel was pretty nice but older. Staff were always extremely friendly. Great free breakfast daily. Perfect location for subway, Central park, times square and theatre district.

Great staff and hotel was in the best location. Only a few blocks from the hub of time squares tourist attraction.

This hotel is close to all restaurants, NBC, Central Park, and the of course to Times Square. Also the free breakfast will save some money in the Big Apple. I will come back there again.

Great location, very close to subway on 50th at and 8th Ave. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included in room rate, a nice bonus. Was able to check-in early and was given an alternate room which turned out to work better for us since it had two queen beds. Beds were comfortable and room wa cleaned everyday.
