Everything was great. Great choice for families with lots of space for New York compared to other hotels we have visited. Massive amount of storage for clothes and luggage. Two bathrooms, great facilities for laundry and the kids could play pool or ping pong whilst they were waiting. Would highly recommend. Easy location close to subway and ferries to get about.

Great location, much quieter than midtown yet easy access to the subway network so could get everywhere quickly. Rooms were great - we had a 4-bedroom unit which was perfect for a couple and 3 teenagers. Lots of eateries and bars nearby. Next to piers for ferries to Staten Island and uptown along the East River. Half a mile walk from Brooklyn Bridge as well, perfect for a stroll if the rest of the family are asleep and you want to stretch your legs. Only minor quibble is that the rooms weren’t cleaned or serviced during our stay. This is an “on request” service which we requested but were told it was already booked but they would come the next day, but they didn’t. In future I’d pre-book it for halfway through the stay. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend

Our room on the top floor was fairly spacious and comfortable and had a spectacular view of the river which we really enjoyed. The apartment suite is showing some signs of wear however. The shower was disappointing in that over both days that we stayed we could only get lukewarm water. The shower pressure was weak as well. Although I am an Expedia VIP member, I was not able to extend checkout for even an hour. In general, although we enjoyed this venue, I think there are better deals in Manhattan for more reasonable pricing.

Placemakr Wall Street was a wonderful location and a clean building. Front desk associates were friendly and tentative to guests needs. Rooms were great with some options for amazing views of the Hudson River. Amenities were cool. Kitchen area, common areas to hangout, and modern look to rooms.

Great place to stay!

Friendliest staff ever! They got us checked-in early when all we wanted to do was drop off our bags with hours to go before check-in time, and it was a great relief after a morning of flights and trains. The hotel was clean, generally comfortable and offers a ton of really great amenities (especially the free laundry on site!). Super easy access to the rest of the city with many nearby subway stations and ferries, and plenty of food trucks, restaurants, and grocery stores close by. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to NYC!

We loved the room and the amenities. The only area for improvement would be seating. We had a 4 bedroom, but there was only seating for 4 people in the living room. The room needs additional seating options.
