Comfortable bed but we didn't have heat in our room for our 2 day stay and a friend in another room had no water pressure in the shower.

The first night we arrived I took a shower and did not have hot water, I turned up the heat to warm up but the heat was not working. The next morning we found out they were having issues with the boiler. We talked to the lady at the front desk who apologized and said she would credit us for 1 night and the problem would be fixed that day. That night I took a shower and still no hot water or heat. We made a complaint again. The next day we finally had heat but still no hot water. We made a complaint again and were told that they knew nothing about the water problem. This was very frustrating. I was there for 4 days and never got to take a warm shower. Not what you would expect from a Hilton.

Great location, friendly staff. Check-in process was late despite requesting early check-in. Room smelled of chemicals and shower flooded bathroom floor. Small space which may just be par for the course given Midtown. Hotel staff did try to make up for inconvenience of check-in and room change by offering complimentary breakfast which was appreciated.

I stayed here because the rest of the hotels were too expensive. But only in NY you have to pay this much money for such a basic hotel

Older hotel that has been updated. Room was tiny.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. I arrived at 10:30 PM and had to wait as the staff checked to make sure "Everything was just right for me". 15 minutes later I was given the key to my room. I arrived in the room and the air conditioning was not working. I called the front desk to be told I took "one of the last rooms:". I toughed it out and had a sweaty sleep. I work up the next morning to non-existent water pressure in the shower. Always good to head to work after sweating through the night and not having a shower in the morning. I called and had my room moved for the second night. THe second room was MUCH better BUT I went to Iron my clothes for the next day's work and the ironing board only had one leg! The cheapest item in the room to replace was broken. On the bright side, I was able to have a shower. I guess you can't win them all. I would not stay here again. Another downside to my stay was the towels thrown on the floor outside my door (Which was at the end of the hall. Management really needs to take a hard look at how they care for the property and Hilton certainly needs to review the brand standards here.

Checked in the hotel and I get in the room and their were no covers on the bed only sheets. One wash cloth with a bunch Of towels. I called downstairs to tell them I needed more wash clothes because it wasn't just me in the room. The guy gets there and says oh we ran out of wash cloths but you can have these towels. They definitely didn't offer any resolution whatsoever. The only good thing about it is was the valet.

Great staff, great place. The place was fantastic this review however is annoying.

NY "quality"hotel prices are high but this one was affordable and very nice. Besides being small everything was perfect

Dated facilities, elevator issues 2 of the 3 days during my stay. I timed my trips to the 24th floor and back down to the lobby at 24, 26 and 29 mins respectively during the times when only one elevator was functioning. Rooms were small and all the furnishings were old and worn. There was a sticky substance on the wall beside the bed, I think it was Coca Cola or blood (see photo). Overall, the worst Hilton-owned property I've ever stayed in by a huge margin.

The only negative I have to say is I wish the room had more storage for clothes! Everything else was great. The staff were super friendly and made a point to make us feel welcome. If I come back to the city I will be staying again!

Great Hotel. Everything you need to your convenience. Love the staff. THEY GAVE ME A FRESH, WARM COOKIE....I love it.

I enjoyed my stay here. Most of the staff was nice and I got a room with a good view.

At check-in about 4:00 pm, we were told they didn't have queen room available. Instead they gave us a room with two full beds. Didn't have much room or another chair other than the desk chair. We have a queen bed at home and a little crowded in full bed. Should have upgraded us to a king.

We first were booked into the Double Tree Times Square South...by accident. When we went to check in at the 'Double Tree Times Square' we wee told we had no reservation and there were no rooms available for that date. Because of the gridlock on the streets, we were not able to get a taxi and had to walk all the way to the other hotel dragging our bags along. I called hotel #2 right away and was able to get a room for the next two nights; then was able to cancel at hotel #1. Once we got back to hotel #2 and checked in, everything went very well. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The reservation problem came about because I booked online.

The hotel is very close to MSG and within walking distance of Times Square and Grand Central. But staff was not attentive to rooms, at least ours. Our room had no coffee packets, a missing ironing board, and a clock that was not adjusted for DST and could only be adjusted by staff (we requested the clock reset 3 times, with no luck). Front desk staff very nice, but follow through on requests just so so.

Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a very nice size. Big shower. Staff was extremely friendly.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel around noon time. Check in time on the website is 4PM so our room wasn't available until then. The staff were pleasant and the lobby looked ok. I gave them my phone number to call me when the room was ready. Once we got the call, we headed back to the hotel and received our keys to the room. We went to the assigned room, but a staff member was in the room. She didn't the cleaning cart with the door open like the cleaning staff usually do. She was just standing in the room with the radio on. She quickly left afterwards. We both found that a bit weird and wondering why she was in there. We looked at the room and it was very small for a queen size bed. The pathway around the room basically only accommodates for one person. There was only an armoire and a desk. There was no mini-refrigerator and complimentary water was only left for us the day after. We found the ice bucket and it was weirdly placed on the window sill and kind of behind the curtain. The bathroom was decent size and clean. The hot water handle on the facet was positioned weirdly. It did not match the cold water handle. The facet itself could also move when it is supposed to be stationary. All-in-all, it was an okay stay. Don't really think it was worth the money. Could've gotten a better hotel for a few dollars more.

Last resort plan to stay in the city. The location was a perfect one given the transportation.

Bad location, staff rude, a lots of things broken (including elevator!)!
