I loved this historical house, the staff did an amazing job at keeping it clean and presentable. 10/10 would stay here again.

The location is very good. They do not have cafeteria or bar.

Loved the location and staff. Carl was great, and another girl that worked at night, sorry i dont remember her name. All in all, s great stsy.

Beautiful and had the New Orleans atmosphere that took you back in time of the era of mansions and high living.

You can't beat the charm of this historic hotel! It has high ceilings, period furniture and some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. The hotel itself is a little dinged up - there are some dings in the walls, some broken pieces and peeling wallpaper and the bathrooms could use a little updating - but the charm completely made up for it for us at what the locals kept referring to as "the oldest hotel in Nola"! The location is perfect - it's just a few blocks to Cafe du Monde, Jackson Square and all sorts of wonderful things. There are wonderful shops and restaurants just steps away. If amenities are the most important thing to you, The Cornstalk probably isn't your best bet (no in-room coffee or fridge), but if you want comfortable, clean and an amazing bit of history, this is a fantastic option. We loved it and I'd stay there again!

The pillows were too thick, hurt our neck. The bathroom was too small, and the hot water kept gdtting hotter and hotter. The free coffee was like colored water, too weak. Location was great, staff was friendly.

Great stay! Very quaint, charming little rooms. Very kind & helpful staff. Would absolutely stay again!!

LOVED my stay at the Cornstalk Hotel! The staff go above and beyond to provide the best experience possible. The hotel is very clean and the team goes out of their way to make any request possible.

The location and building were perfect. The staff was pleasant, but not overly helpful. For such a fantastic setting, the one person on staff at a time was a little lackluster. And if that's the only thing wrong, then Bravo!

This place was great. I love the aesthetics of the hotel. My only issue was we thought we rented a room with a balcony, but turns out it was room with a balcony "view". So there was a miscommunication with that. But it was still a great and beautiful place.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The hotel itself is very charming. The desk person seemed nice enough but she was very distracted. When we checked in we were not given any info about the hotel at all. Not even the code you need to get in the front door! Our bathroom had not been cleaned properly. The previous guests dirty drink cups and debris where still on the windowsill in the bathroom. The floor had not been mopped and there were dirty hair ties hanging off the doorknob. New Olreans is a busy place, so I thought oh well, it must just have gotten missed. We brought it up at the desk and asked for it to be cleaned. That never happend. I actually wound up cleaning it myself. For the price we paid this was very disappointing. If you are going to spend this kind of money you can do better elsewhere. I travel here often and try out different hotels.
