Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Airport Mall of America

Stayed 2 nights downtown for business but stayed on my last night at the Garden Inn by the airport due to an insanely early departure (5:10 am). Free shuttle took no more than 10 minutes. My room was on the small side and pretty tight with the bed, work desk, easy chair and ottoman, but comfortable and clean. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Bar-restaurant offered a good selection of beverages and dinner. Also, hotel was significantly cheaper than staying downtown.

GREAT PLACE TO BE HEADQUARTERS WHEN YOU VISIT MPLS. & MOA AREA LOCATION: Super, right on the main drag of American Blvd, quick to Mall of America, also to downtown Mpls, St. Paul or the suburbs. But its a large piece of property with a garden, ample parking lot, VERY accommodating van that help with finding places and getting you there fast. ROOM: Sleek, modern and light. Baths are great, lots of fluffy white towels, good shower and very clean.TV is big, room has good ,updated coffee machine and mini-fridg etc. All you need for a relaxing stay.Updated colors and fabrics. BREAKFAST/MEALS: here is the weak point of this hotel. No gratis breakfast---not even a free continental breakfast! Price for the poorly organized hot/cold buffet breakfast is too high for quality received. Table service would be better for menu hot items....and a buffet for cold continental bfst food. Instead, all the guests are running around the small serving area, gathering coffee and rolls, danish and fruit while hot breakfast fans are milling around the same area trying to catch eggs and the same cold items. Its is a mess. With a bunch of children trying to eat breakfast at the same time, the pace of running around increases. The breakfast meal becomes hectic here and a bit "thrown together". Too few staff are refilling stations, food runs out. Process needs a "rethink. OTHER hotel amenities: Bar, pool, exercise room, laundry, business center, private conference room, pantry with snacks---all are handy additions. SERVICE: Here is the strong point of this hotel---friendly and energetic service staff give energy to the Front Desk. They quickly process guests, answer questions and solve problem issues. This is the hub of the hotel. LOBBY: Lots of comfy chairs and sofas, newspapers, fireplace and free beverages reflect a warm and happy hotel. SUMMARY: Good Place....give it a try. Recommend

We stayed here because it had the stay and fly option. It was in a good location, near the MOA and the airport. I had checked out the many options near the Minneapolis airport, as I have stayed in several that were less that idea. This hotel was clean, brightly lit, comfortable, and the workers knew the answers to all questions that we had about food, parking, and the shuttle procedure. We ate in the hotel, and the food was very good, but we did not have any time to use any of the other services. I would stay here again.

My family and I did the breakfast buffet on Saturday morning and everything was absolutely delicious (I later found out her was the kitchen supervisor), well seasoned to taste nothing extra needed. On Sunday and Monday things were totally different. The food was bland and the food temperature wasn't good. On Sunday I asked the chef for cheese eggs and he told me there were eggs on the buffet as if you wasn't going to oblige my request. I had to ask a second time. The pool water and area was cold but quickly fixed after calling the front desk. The chlorine level was high to the point you didn't want to go under the water because your mouth would taste like pure salt.

What great value price wise for this hotel . Pool was amazing and rooms very clean , friendly staff and shuttle service from hotel to mall was a huge time saver ! Definitely staying here again ... wonderful for families

My husband had joined me at the end of a business trip in Duluth. After a long, stressful day of travel that included a flight delay causing us to miss our flight home out of MSP, we had to find a room for the night. We were hungry and exhausted and made it to the hotel about 15 minutes before the restaurant closed. Despite this, our server was kind and welcoming, and we got our drinks and food quickly. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and our shuttle driver was cheerful in the morning despite the early hour (4:30am). The room was clean and comfortable, although all we did was crash for a few hours. Our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn MSP Airport absolutely saved the day and provided some much-needed rest and respite after a hectic day where we were met with poor service from the airline and a taxi driver. THIS is what good customer service looks like! I would come back without hesitation and recommend this property wholeheartedly.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The shuttle takes the guests to the airport and to the Mall of America and back every hour. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable with very nice linens. The bathrooms are supplied with new soaps, lotions, and shampoos daily.

Stayed here for a night with a friend to visit the Mall of America. Great place and easy to get to/from the airport and mall! Friendly staff and clean, fresh-feeling rooms. Highly recommend to anyone passing through the area!

Traveled 700 miles for Mall of America feature concert type event and our check in, stay and departure was wonderful. 3 young men was in staff that evening we arrived and were very helpful and nice. Would stay here again, for sure.

We loved our stay here couldn't ask for much more..rooms were clean and location great for families using the airport. We liked the staff and friendly atmosphere. When we visit MN again we will stay here.
