The building is unique & interesting in a good way...loved the large fireplace in the lobby - was perfectly cozy for the cold night we stayed. The brick walls & exposed rough hewn beams give an industrial vibe from a long ago time but is warm & comfortable. The interior is like no other hotel I have been a guest. The only negative, for me, was the difficult parking situation. If you arrive via car, the closest parking is 2 blocks away & valet/parking is $46 per 24 hours.
Wish they offered bathrobes in the rooms. And coffee.
The property was overall one of the better boutique hotels I have stayed in.
The hotel is beautiful. Sauna is great and bar/restaurant. Pool was drained so we were unable to use. Wish they would of let us know before if they were doing maintenance.
Had a great night. Location made walking to surrounding easy and fun. Rooftop bar was an added treat.
Lobby architecture and rooftop bar with great views of downtown. Also take advantage of hot tub on roof.
I liked the roof deck bar and hot tub. I didn’t like that there were no movies to watch in room .
Live the ambiance and decor. Bar area great for having a drink.
Nice hotel. The repurposed design is pretty cool. Rooms are nice. Employees were all good. Good location. Parking is a disaster. I'm not crazy about being nickel and dimed to death. 300+ night for a room and then another 43.00 to park. That is annoying. I'd much rather pay 350.00 / night with free parking. But then I wouldn't be fooled with an artificially low price. All in all it's a very nice hotel, I personally just don't like being nickel and dimed.
A fun hotel with a nice rooftop hot tub and sauna. Walking distance to many good restaurants and attractions in downtown Minneapolis. Main lobby is a fun place for a drink with good people watching. The building is old, but we didn't hear any noise between the walls. Bathrooms are less private than ideal; they should get louder fans to drown out normal bathroom activities.
It is a boutique hotel, an old building turned into a really nice place with exposed original wall bricks and wood ceilings. The location is excellent in a newly restored arra of the city too. It was hot during our stay and the hot tub in the roof was too hot to be used. Besides, it demanded a $ 50 a person, something surprising to what already is a pricey stay. I don’t think we will ever stay there again. Too expensive for what it is offered.
