W Minneapolis - The Foshay

Good location. A contemporary atmosphere. But who these days still charges for Wifi??

Fun place to stay but every time you enter the hotel, you are assaulted with loud music. I guess this is supposed to calm you down or make you want to join the tragically cool and hip set. Yikes. When I go into a hotel I would like a feeling of sanctuary, especially after battling airport security, lines, traffic, etc. Tone it down folks! Not everyone who stays at the Foshay wants to go to a night club! And not everyone who stays there is 20 or 30 something. That said, the staff were all fantastic.

Fabulous staff, very quiet for sleeping, yet Prohibition was busy and very fun. Definitely would stay again.

Clean & chic hotel. Great location with excellent services within the hotel, too.

Had a wonderful time at the W. I must say that the W is starting to show some age in the wear and tear of the rooms. Overall, the hotel staff, the lobby, and environment is superb. I would just say the rooms need some attention. The furniture was needing some maintenance.

They put us in the wrong room as there was another couple with the same last name

Hotel was wonderful and clean. If you like beer then not the spot but walking distance to a great Local scene! Toilet paper feels like sand paper but over all a get place.

I was in town buying wedding dress for my daughter, the location is wonderful but the hotel don't have wifi and parking it's very expensive, the staf is no friendly... If you travel with kids the hotel have nothing for children... Lots of drunk people walking around... No recommend and very expensive

Beautiful place with the right blend of elegance and simplicity. Historic setting with contemporary design in the rooms. I would return in a heartbeat. More for the adult than for kids.

W wonderful enough said... Wouldn't stay anywhere else in downtown Minneapolis!

I like lobby, it is so beautiful art deco style. Nice bar and very great bartender.

I hosted my sister's bachelorette party at the W and it was the perfect place for us. It was chic and sophisticated and the vibe was great. The staff was excellent and accommodating to our needs. My only complaint is that I wish we would have known when booking the dj that was spinning there that night and we would have stayed in the hotel instead of making plans to go to another venue.

The hotel was amazing and the staff was very helpful and polite.

Budget motels can offer free wi-fi but an upscale hotel needs to charge per day? The room was untidy with stains on surfaces and on the bedding. Disappointed to say the least. The staff was friendly and helpful.

very good it was very comforable fsgfd, gnksdfvnvlkdfbnfvksdlfnbvldskfbnfldsb sdlfkvbsdvsdvsdfgbsdfgvbdsfbgsdfg

You can deffinatly tell there is some history in there and the tradition is somewhat noticebly still carried on.

This W is in the old Foshay tower. It shows. Only 2 lifts were working at a time. The 14th floor was flooded. Valet just stand around and don't direct traffic, open doors or hustle. I actually saw one of them peel out in someone's high performance car. The only thing this place has going for it is that Manny's is in the same building. Way nicer places in Minnie. This W does not reflect the brand you may be used to. What is with the flat square sinks that splash all over?

The Foshay was above standard and exceeded our expectations.

Nice room. Clean. Bathroom was nice .. No tub but very big shower. Staff was helpful with any questions we had.

My wife and I stayed only one night. It would be hard to give a fair assessment staying only one night.
