Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown

4.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

There is underground parking that is very crowded with sharp corners. When I got to the lobby it had blue lights that messed with my eyes. An employee said a lot of people complained about them too. My room was small for having two double beds and supposedly sleeping four, luckily there were only two of us. The hotel was very muggy too. Staff did accommodate and bring a fan to our room. Not like the other Radisson's I've stayed at in the past.

Best lighting is in the shower. Exactly where it's not needed. Impossible to do make up and hair. The handheld mirror that was supposed to have a light of course didn't have a working battery. Also the shelf next to the sink was missing a shelf. What do you need in a bathroom besides lighting? Shelving to store the make up bag. If we weren't spending only one night I would have spoken to Mgt but we just lived with it the few hours that we needed it. The hotel itself is nice with a good restaurant and professional staff but they need to step up their game where it really matters.

If I'd known I was "required" to write something as well as just rating the hotel I wouldn't have bothered.

We spent just one night but the room was beautiful and very quiet. Great bed. Nice linens. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel it's awesome... It's very nice, comfortable, very clean... It's in the downtown of Minneapolis...

The only negative was the parking garage was too small for our huge truck (max 6f 8in). But thats something I deal with in all cities/garages. So Im not holding it against the Hotel.

Very nice experience would recommend to business and visiting travelers

No issues....A very nice hotel.....Would recommend any of my friends and family to stay......

Members of the staff were very cordial and helpful. One even went out of her way to leave an envelope in our room with information about bus routes, brochures and other information related to our stay- items that she had compiled specifically for us.

Hotel and staff were great. Its location means that there is a steady stream of ambulances going lights-and-sirens down 7th Avenue at all hours of the day.

The Radisson Blu was a great location to get to our dining plans a block away and even squeeze in a fast minute shopping trip at Macy's next door. The hotel has underground self parking and valet. We chose to self park and it was simple and easy. The Radisson has special rates for overnight stay at this public garage with in and out privilege. The Skyway System is easily accessible from the Radisson Parking elevator second floor. Just keep in mind the Skyway closes at 10pm. It was -5 degrees F and snowing outside, but our stay at Radisson allowed us to skip the cold and snow slush and navigate from indoors! The reason for a 4 star was unfortunately I had asked the staff when I was checking in to order additional bath towels to our room. She said she would gt those sent, they never came. :( Also you can hear noise from the street. police sirens to be exact at wee hours of the night.

I had set up my trip through a trip organizer but needed to cancel one of my rooms. Even though it took several calls to complete the process, they were so patient and professional in handling the cancellation.

Nice hotel in the downtown area. Staff very friendly.

What a beautiful hotel with a great staff to top it off!

Hotel room king bed was really nice. Staff was rude for the most with the exception of the front desk. Bar service was terrible and very expensive. Our room was clean for the most part. There was blood on the bathroom floor next to the toilet. Was very disappointed to pay 250.00 a night to have a window view of the inside of the hotel.

Positive stay, clean guest room, friendly staff, good location

Modern hotel w/friendly front desk staff. Room was larger than The W Hotel, upscale bathroom with large vanity and mirror. Beds were super comfortable. We were very happy, would definitely return to Blu.

Nice hotel, recently updated. Close to Target Center and other venues. Lots of dining choices nearby. Parking ramp connected to hotel. Convenient, easy to get to and right in the middle of all the action in downtown.

The great place to stay . I enjoy the time I was at the hotel!!!!

Hotel was great and met expectations. While room is a bit simple with some slightly outdated items, boring lobby, limited bath items and no view from the window (I guess i could've requested better, so no fault of the hotel). Overall feeling of industrial-business style living, with extremely high ceilings and solid furniture make it a true city experience. Check-in/out was fast. Overall great place to stay if you need a sleep over and a quiet place to work from.
