Holiday Inn & Suites Duluth Downtown

We liked the convenience of this hotel. It was located right downtown, connected to the skywalk and offered a free shuttle within the Canal Park area. There were 2 pools and a hot tub. The suite we had was spacious and clean. We like the Keurig coffee maker/coffee. The only down-side was that breakfast was not included. There are a couple restaurants on second floor on the skyway, though. There was a spot to grab drinks and pastries in the morning.

Hotel is close to the skyway so you have easy access to Bayfront Park and the walk on Canal Street. The staff were friendly and accommodating especially on a busy July 4th holiday. Loved the free shuttle to anywhere you want and the friendly shuttle driver. Would definitely stay there again!

Bathroom is little small We stayed close to the pool areas thought was good ideas, since kids wanted to swim. But at 8am the noise is way too much.

One night stay got North shore Inline Marathon. Quiet, beds were a little too soft for me.

Horrible service in the dining room. Waited over an hour for a breakfast that we did not get.

I always enjoy staying at the Holiday Inn. After a long day of shopping at Miller Hill Mall and Target, I went to the hotel and the staff were very pleasant and efficient during check in. The room was clean, comfortable, and I enjoyed the local photography that decorated the room. I like that the hotel is easy to get to, has great parking, and is close to Canal Park for eating and shopping. The only complaint that I have was that construction or maintenance started working on something somewhere near my room at 7:45 am, which was an unfortunate way to wake up when I had been looking forward to sleeping in.

This is a nicely remodeled hotel in the center of town. We had a room that over looked the skyway which was quiet but hoped for a view. We didn't explore much of what the hotel offered but would definitely stay again. Thanks for not requiring a 2-night minimum stay!

My wife, 2 yr old son and I stayed there this summer. We opted for a sweet so our son could nap in a separate bedroom w/ door from the living area. This was a great setup and allowed us to watch tv and converse while he napped. We did not try out the pools but they looked nice. I was disappointed that there was no continental breakfast, however, the restaurants connected to the hotel did takeout. We walked to canal park and it was a quick walk. They also have a shuttle.

Great Hotel...walking distance to Canal Park and great restaurants.

Good location, clean room, great staff. Free shuttle to a restaurant cane in handy.

The people at the front desk were very helpful. We stay here often and surprised at the cost for the night that we booked for.

I was in Duluth for a conference, and originally tried to get a hotel closer to my event, but was unable to find one with any openings. I ended up at the Holiday Inn, and am glad that I did. The staff couldn't have been any more accommodating and friendly. They were so helpful with any questions that I came up with. My room was very nice, and it was nice to come back to a room that was as clean each evening as it was when I arrived the first day. I would not hesitate to book here again. It may not have been my first choice when I was trying to book a hotel, but I'm very glad that it was where I ended up.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The pool area is great. .... staff service was consistent. .. For price and what you received was fair. . Location and views outstanding

Everything was great. My only tip would be to bring ear plugs in case your room is in the pool atrium since folks enjoying pool time can get a little loud.

Room was really comfortable and good price for the room we got. We will book again

Everything was wonderful, clean rooms, great pool area on 8th floor. Had 2 room suites, worked great for our large group. Would stay again.

Needs some updating! Pool on 8th floor closed because of roof leaks. Overall better than sleeping in the van.

Staff was nice, room was clean, and prices are very affordable.
