Checked into the room and went to make coffee and there was a bottle cap behind coffee maker. Then went to put some drinks into the refrigerator and there was half a pizza inside. After those two issues looked and there was 3 weeks of dust on the refrigerator. When I called the front desk they made up excuses about the cleanliness and didn’t have any house keeping staff around to take care of it said I had to talk to the manager the next morning. The manager said there was nothing they could do because I had prepaid for the room through a third party. Don’t stay at this uncleaned place or you’ll get treated like the dirt itself

The price was right and the location was great to walk to Bentleyville Light Display and the Canal Park area. It was cold, so having the Old Chicago restaurant in the same building was a nice bonus. The suite was spacious and had more than we needed for this trip. Decor was very minimal, and the lighting was either glaring from overhead or minimal because of a lack of lamps. But overall it was a good stay.

Check in process was horrible....we ended up canceling our room and went home! Very late check in to begin with (4PM), but it wasn't even ready by 4:30 and no talk about any compensation. It was just my husband and I, and we like kids, but there were so many unsupervised kids running around (and this was a Sunday night) We knew that rest of our stay would not be what we needed.

Parking good. Heating in room terrible - could not adjust the heat. Pool was way too cold. Hot tub nice. Breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen. All the food was out or super low and not everyone eating could have much. I took the last donut and it was hard as a rock. Floor in elevator covered in popcorn. Front desk clerk told me nothing about breakfast/pool times/wifi password blank. Tried calling the front desk from our room but no one would answer so we had to go to desk when unnecessary.

Got there to check in at 4 - which is an hour later than most hotels and my room hasn't ready (I was not the only one) got my parking pass which directs customers to pack in the back lot which I then had to argue with the front desk when I was finally checking in that the instructions specify to park in what is now a "private lot" as I was telling my fiancé to hold the parking ticket for validation in which I was told "We do not do that anymore and the pass only says to park back there if the main lot is full". I told her to actually read the parking pass and at that time she said she would let the manager for the morning know that the pass does not specify anything she told me. When the room was finally ready it was mostly clean - the shower had left over hair from a prior guest but that is a small complaint. The beds were super uncomfortable though - the adults definitely left tired and sore. We collectively agree we will never stay here again.

We tried to check in after 4 pm and our room hadn’t been cleaned yet; front desk staff weren’t very courteous; we stayed for two nights and when we got back in the afternoon our room keys didn’t work, and desk staff didn’t ask to see my id before giving me new keys. Bathtub was very slippery and there was no mat and no safety grab bars.

We came in at 4:00 to check in, only to be told our room wasn't ready yet. Check in is at 4:00, so all rooms should be ready by then. The girl at the desk said she would text or call when the room was ready. We sat in the breakfast area for over an hour, waiting. We had a concert we were hoping to get ready for, but lost that hour + of time. Finally, after not getting any update or call, I went to desk to check the status of our room, and it was ready. How long had it been ready? Nobody bothered to let us know, and no discount or anything else was offered. Super disappointed, as this is one of our favorite hotels to stay at in Duluth.
