Staff was friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The property is a little run down but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep it’s fine.
It was not real easy to access the entrance and there is no elevator, even with rooms on 3rd floor. Not ideal for handicapped or older individuals.
The room was very clean, and the price was fair. This is a decent part of Duluth to stay in. It is a bit of a drive to get down time. Overall, I would recommend this if you're looking to save a few bucks.
Male front desk staff who has been there 4yrs is always wonderful. I have a concern about cleaning staff. I left my room and had a do not disturb sign on the door. Saw a cleaning person across the hall, she saw me leaving. For some reason before I left, because of the shady type I saw staying there, I zipped my bag a certain way, later in the evening when I returned, I found that my bag was unzipped. There was a wallet with CC’s in it none of which were missing. I’m not pointing fingers, just making people aware of my observation. I have stayed at the Days Inn on and off for the last 7 yrs. Unfortunately, the surrounding area has become run down and the questionable places, ie; The Voyager and Downtown Duluth Inn have shut down, which I feel has drawn a less then desirable group of people. I love visiting Duluth, but it is extremely hard to find a safe feeling, reasonably priced accommodation.
I love Duluth!
Very nice place to stay overnight. Close to the water and activities
Check in Eric was very helpful suggesting area of town to visit and restaurants Also not sure her name but woman helping w breakfast next morning very cheerful and helpful
The place needs a makeover badly. The cleanliness was pretty bad. We found cigarette butts under the bed and hair in the bathtub. The breakfast was terrible. I could possibly be more forgiving if the rates were cheaper, but for $250 a night I expected better. We will never stay there again.
This is a good, basic hotel. It was clean had what we needed and everything was in good working order. If they had a pool, exercise room or other facilities we didn't use them. We chose to go out for breakfast so i can't rate that.
No frills. It was clean and front desk was really nice.
