Love this hotel right in the water
We love staying here! The rooms are clean and spacious. The rooftop hot tub is fun and so are the s’mores in the evening. Disappointed that the breakfast was limited due to staffing. Otherwise a great stay.
The lock on the door of our balcony was broken. Luckily being on the 2nd floor, we felt we could manage without it, but it should still get fixed.
Great views! Spacious rooms!
My first issue is the lack of breakfast options. It was coffee, apples, oranges, muffins and granola bars. Likely due to covid though. Also, our room was pretty noisy. You could hear doors slamming shut, kids running through the hallway, people talking next room over, and people above walking/running around. Wish they could quiet or slow the doors down. Pools were always packed full also. Everything else was wonderful. Likely coming back in summertime.
I recommend this hotel for a stay in downtown Duluth. It was easy to find, took covid serious and had policies in place to still make the experience nice with safety in mind.
Girl I front desk very unfriendly, breakfast in a bag was very disappointing. Has went downhill from previous stays.
They mentioned that our view would be affected by the lakefront boardwalk construction ... But not that there would be a giant excavator literally crushing rocks 20 feet from our window all day, starting at 7am every day including Saturday. I'm sad that we splurged on a lakefront hotel and a lakefront room, and that they continued to charge a premium for those rooms despite the disruption. The pools were great, the room average. With so many options in Duluth, we won't stay there again.
Loud neighbors. Loud machines and big trucks working on the shore.
We loved the rooftop pool! Loved the pool side room and the back patio. My only complaint is that there was a coffee mug left by the chair in our room that was full with alcohol. I would have been upset if my 3 year old son found this before me. So my only suggestion would be for staff to make sure they check around all chairs when cleaning.
Room is not ready after 3 pm. The fold up bed from the couch is not clean with new bedding.
Under the conditions we weren’t able to use the pool and didn’t have the breakfast but the staff were wonderful, view was amazing and it was very clean. Can not wait to go back hopefully this summer when things are open.
We were supposed to get $10 off of bill from hotel if we didn’t use housekeeping services. We didn’t get the $10 off!!
