Each of the rooms are a unique experience. I've stayed at Celeste four times, and have enjoyed each room.

Great place to stay close to everything downtown. Staff excellent, especially at check in and the bartenders in the bar!

I loved the historical features.

The hotel was terrific. Rooms were comfortable and the staff was incredibly helpful. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in St. Paul.

It’s down town St. Paul and next to a fire station. So just be ready for that. It’s an old nunnery and a cool old school look and feel. The parking is in a parking garage right next door. It doesn’t tel you that on this APP. We had to ask the check in staff. The staff member was nice and it was quick. Odd but awesome stay.

This was a convent built in the late 1800, great old building with many catholic theme, pictures. The breakfast was served in the chapel. Great location.

I loved the old building’s woodwork/molding, and dramatic wall art. Also the whimsical nun photos here and there. Our room was in the basement near the metro line so a little noisy, but was warm and comfortable otherwise. Breakfast had a lot of good choices, decent quality stuff. I enjoyed the coffee cake bread, and fresh scrambled eggs.

Great service and accommodations! A nice breakfast spread with friendly staff. Gorgeous and historical building, it’s a must stay.

Wow wow wow wow wow! I was totally in awe of this property! I have already told friends and family they HAVE to go check this place out. The breakfast was by far the best I have ever had as a complimentary breakfast at a hotel. The only bit I noticed that I did mention to the front desk staff was that the bathroom window looked like it hadn't had much cleaning attention in a while and the carpet going into the bathroom at the seam where it met the tile was starting to shred a bit - not surprising, but that is very miniscule in the scheme of things. I wish we would have had more time to wander and see the rest of the building and the artwork. Whomever came up with the restoration plans and the decor was absolutely spot on. If we ever need to stay in St. Paul again, this is where I will stay!

The Celeste is a lovely building, rich in design and detail and with an interesting history! We loved our stay and will be back on our next trip to St. Paul! Thank you!

It was very clean. I was surprised by the motif, until I learned it was a former convent...then it all made sense. The floors were a bit squeaky in the halls and our room, but other than that, it was very nice. We would stay again when in the area.

Bed was not too comfortable. Five pillows were all same. Suggest different types of pillows. Very good room overall. Nice staff. Stand-out bartender who served our group after he'd technically closed the bar. He said he wanted the guests to have a good experience at the hotel. We all appreciated his willingness to serve 'last call' for our group for our reunion.

Very location!

Great old-style hotel with nice bar and friendly staff. Biggest issues are too many homeless outside the building and noise from light rail starting at 5am.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Easy check in and check out. Great breakfast! The only downside would be the smokers from the facility next door. They sat right out front of the hotel, blocking the sidewalk. But that aside, I’d definitely stay at St. Celeste again!

This is a beautifully restored historic building with lovelyn helpful staff.

Central St. Paul, near the capital. Old music conservatory, with the best of the old features, still intact. Such as the marble and wrought iron staircase, didn't want to use the elevator, because of it. Nice, modern rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast is good, with many options, and the arched ceiling, dining room is nice, with some ornateness.

An amazing taste of real St. Paul without too much of a corporate feel. Great and friendly staff. Shiraz at the front was extremely helpful. Room is very roomy and clean. Loved that everything was walking distance. Definitely a keeper.

The property is very unique. Classy and comfy.
