Across the street to the excel energy center, very convenient

Breakfast was great, the parking situation was a little bit disappointing. When you pay $300 for a night you expect there to be parking for free. I was able to get over that quickly but what was unfortunate was the lack of cleanliness in our room. Once entering the room I looked up above the door and it was the thickest amount of dust above the fire detector I have ever seen in my life. I don't know how anyone has missed that for so long. Makes you leery of how well everything else is cleaned.

Overpriced. Have to pay extra for parking ☹️

Great location, but no parking on site other than valet.

The hotel is very nice. I loved the large shower in the bathroom. View was a little interesting. You can see into the Condos right next door. Only option for Parking is Valet which is $31.00. A little high for a night. I wouldn't want to pay that for more than one night.

Beautiful, classy hotel in an amazing location. We were able to walk a very short distance to the Xcel center. Amazing restaurants within a short walking distance.

location was perfect for our needs, staff was very pleasant and responsive to any requests that we made. Would definitely stay here again

There was one barn door to accommodate the closet and bathroom. Cool idea, but NOT functional. Case in point, my daughter's friend had to use the bathroom and I was going to get something from the closet, but realized I could not and had to wait until she was done. Functionality should be considered before anything 'cool'. Scrap the barn doors.

I had to request our room be cleaned twice on Sunday. We were put in a handicapped room without being told. The room was HOT and steamy and the air conditioning was very noisy. Our black out blind did not work so we had no privacy and our room faced the neon sign of the excel energy stadium. That meant light all night. I realize it was the NCAA weekend, but we paid a very hefty premium because of that and it was not the quality or service we expect from a Hampton Inn.

Great location next to Minnesota Hockey Venue, very pleasant and helpful staff

Great location. Friendly staff. HORRIFIC breakfast. Unfortunately for this trip, it was a deal breaker. Was looking forward to getting a little bite before the long drive home. Bad way to start the day. The sausage was actually frozen together, coated with ice crystals. Would be better to be out of something than to put out a bad product.

Great hotel. Parking was spendy, but I guess that’s what you get with a great location.

We apologize that parking is extra. Unfortunately, there is no free parking anywhere in Downtown St. Paul. I will let you know that is typical of any Downtown area. Hope this helps for next time you visit a busy city so you aren't caught off guard. Have a wonderful day!
