We love staying here whenever we have an activity at the Excel or Roy Wilkinson’s Auditorium. It is a quick walk from the venue and easy to get to. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and so helpful.

While the Hampton was good; staff good; this is the last time we will book with Hotels.com. We added an extra night, Wednesday, and were charged weekend rate ($365) in spit of offer of price matching (hotel rate $185). Hotels.com is no longer competitive and perks are non existent.

Came to town for a hockey game, wonderful location for that. Very nice staff, super helpful and went above and beyond to help us check in early when we got into town. Clean rooms and lobbies. Beds and feather pillows were fine. I’ve had better, I’ve had much worse. Always had a hot shower and good water pressure. We slept in and missed breakfast everyday so I can’t respond about that but they do keep coffee and I think cocoa on all day. Loved that you needed a key card to enter the building and that they had door staff given that it is right in the heart of downtown. There were a few restaurant options nearby, mostly expensive or bar type food but they were good and open late. We will be staying here again when we come to town for hockey.
