We travelled with a one year old. Everything was unexpectedly easy. Made our trip just a little bit better. Room was very clean, with a nice view. Staff were very understanding when we needed a room clean up after snack time gone wild. Great high chairs in breakfast area. Loved the free snack bags. Came in handy one day when our visit to the aquarium ran a little long. Great hotel for families.

Very good location with restaurants within easy walking distance.

Middle of the week trip the see Bentleyville "Tour of Lights". The Lights were good, but our highlight was the stay at the Hotel! Unexpected bonus. We've stayed at a lot of hotels across the country. Don't expect a lot. From the bed and great pillows to the fantastic breakfast, one of the best places we have stayed. Great view of Lake Superior, too.

Charge point didn't work, window faced parking lot which was fine but there weren't any heavy curtains to block the parking lot lights.

According to my wife, Hampton has the most comfortable beds of all the Canal Park hotels.

Check in is at 3PM, room was not ready and they have shift change at check in time, they were not apologetic about the chaos. The room was comfortable but not exceptional for the price in Canal Park. Free continental breakfast? They were out of everything and the person working said no more would be put out because she was running late. Will not stay here again.

The complimentary breakfast was excellent as well as the staff. I would stay again.

classic furnished nice little cottage in the city center with a variety of food and shopping selections

Great Location. Room was a little small. Too narrow. Nice staff and breakfast buffet.

Staff was friendly, very good continental breakfast, lobby had cookies in the afternoon. Rooms were modern and clean.Great location in Canal Park.

Very friendly staff. Rooms were great. Breakfast was really good. Sunday mornings are always busy but it never felt like a zoo. Love this place. We will be back.

They accommodated an early arrival and were very helpful with my elderly parents. Great location as well.

Loved it! I never choose Canal Park hotels because they are so much more expensive but, since the price was so great in the off-season, we tried this one out - it was GREAT! Close to food and fun, AWESOME view, good room, good breakfast! I'd definitely stay here again! My only complaint was that the breakfast area was too small. The hotel wasn't anywhere near capacity I was able to find a seat for myself, but many families took their food back to their room because there were no tables available.

This is a great place, Clean, freindly, it was just perfect. The breakfast buffet was huge, the view from room 211 was stunning in the morning-evening

clean room, nice staff, and located in Canal Park.

This hotel is in a perfect spot on canal park. The continental breakfast was very good as well. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. The only knock is that it is a little expensive.

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn before and just like always everything was great. This time our room was on the first floor which did take away from the view, but we were still very satisfied.

Good location. Great staff. Room rate for 2 queen beds for one night, $296.00. I think this is outrageous for a 3 star hotel. Would love to stay there in the future but not for that price. I would recommend this hotel if you can find a better room rate.

Stayed two nights at this hotel. Friendly staff and the hotel is smack dab in the middle of Duluth's Canal Park. Surprisingly good free breakfast each morning. Bed was a tad too soft for my liking but overall it was a good stay. Would come back again.

Location was perfect for what we needed! Staff was very nice even though it was very busy when we checked in. The room was clean with the bed was really hard and it was difficult to keep the climate controlled to what we wanted. The room was not soundproof we could hear everything happening above us as well as hallway traffic. Breakfast was good, but for the price of the hotel could have been better. Wifi worked well even right outside the hotel which was nice because I could use it while enjoying the lake! We would probably stay here again simply for convenience of location, but not for full price and id remember ear plugs!

I apologize if the charge point didn't work, However we do have light blocking curtains in all of our 103 rooms. The window dressing has a short section (the same as the main curtain) that hides the full size curtain and the sheers. I'm sorry this was not evident when you wanted to block the light out.
