The property is not well maintained and should not hold anything higher than a two star rating.
Went thru 3 rooms to get a room that wasn’t wet with fans running in them. Front desk was unaware that sections on 12th and 14th floor had some water damage and we being left open and not to be used. Up and down in the elevator back and forth to front desk. We had 2 rooms and both of us were up and down trying to square away the room situation! Room is outdated and desk chair ripped and torn. Not what I expect at a Radisson property!
This is quite possibly the most filthy hotel I have ever stayed at, and at a price of nearly $300 per night. For the price I assumed a better experience and room. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned in what appeared to be months, the bedding was dirty, and the kicker was when my son poured water into one of the glasses on the counter, to find out that someone prior had so kindly put drops of cologne in it, after he took a drink of course. Tried to connect with the front desk, and received no response. Honestly considered sleeping in our vehicle it was so bad.
The property needs some upgrading. The mechanical unit within the room flooded the floor and also was very noisy. It needs work to say the least. The TV remote batteries were bad and when we talked to the front desk on our way out for the day. We were informed that there wasnt a building engineer available on saturday.
I'd highly recommend paying a little extra for a room with a view. Our room had AMAZING views of the lake.
Cheap toilet tissue paper. Bath tube outdated and rusty
First time visiting
Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous. Great restaurant with a view at top. Property desperately needs a make over. Elevators at times did work.
Very accommodating regarding complicated check in.
The beds were very uncomfortable. The bathrooms air vent did not work so the mirror would get very foggy. “Park at your own risk”?? Seriously?? That sign did not make me feel like I was in a safe area.
The views in this hotel are amazing. Every room has a gorgeous view. The restaurant and bar both have lovely dining and drink options and the pool sauna and hot tub are nice enough (4 person hot tub but decent) and that's where the good ends. It's insanely overpriced with TINY DATED rooms. The doors must all stick because not only is it difficult to get into your room but everyone else struggles too so you hear your neighbors trying to beat down their doors to get in too. There's one set of elevators. On a weekend we waited a LONG time for an elevator. We booked a suite but got a double room with no couch. They did bring up a cot which was actually really nice but then they just dumped it right in front of the door and it was difficult to maneuver around. The grout in the shower was black and the bathroom itself was desperate for a good face lift. Realistically i would not stay here again. There's hotels with rooms for the same price in canal Park that are huge modern and clean. And conversely there are tons that are as nice and even nicer in other hotels in Duluth for 1/3 the price
The location is great and close to everything you need downtown. The room was incredibly dirty. Food still on the floor, hair and mildew built up on the counter in bathroom, surfaces were sticky and can tell they weren’t wiped down. Toilet seat was not only stained but cracked and peeling paint. Toilet bowl had build up and scum inside. Tissue box was stuck to the counter with some leftover liquid. You can tell nothing has been actually cleaned in a long time.
Good location, within walking distance to lots of activities near the canal. Seemed clean, staff wes nice. Rotating restaurant/bar at top is owned by a different company. Disappointed with service, arrived after food service closed. Wanted to stay for drinks. Bartender told us where we could sit and someone would take our drink order. No one waited on us, even though servers were serving others. When I asked, I was told I had to go to the bar to order drinks after food service closed. This was the only negative during our stay.
Small rooms with no storage space. Nothing for kids beyond the pool. Sketchy area of Duluth complete with people screaming outside. Elevator takes forever.
Room and bathroom are extremely small. The room was not cleaned. & the elevator was terrifying
The front desk staff were very friendly. The rooms, carpet, bedding were very old. Very small bathroom not suitable for a couple only 1 person. The television did not work at all. The outside grounds were displorable. Very dirty and garbage thrown all over and not picked up. This hotel is in dire need of a renovation.
