The hotel and the room was fabulous. However, I checked in and they gave me a room and keys which was prompt. Much to my surprise, when I unlocked the door and walked in I was met with the same surprise as the people already staying in that room. Definitely need to be more cautious when handing out room keys as this may not have gone as well as it did. Please Train the staff better.

Overall pretty decent. The front desk staff and bar staff were nice and welcoming. I didn’t have housekeeping enter my room during my stay, so can’t speak too much to that. However, there was someone else’s hair on the walls of the shower when I got the room. And a few crumbs here and there on the floor, as if it hadn’t been thoroughly vacuumed and the TV remote was pretty gross. Had to wipe that down. The TV channels also seemed to go in and out of having a signal. All of those things, not the end of the world. The icing on the cake, however, was that I left a few shirts hanging in the closet that were never found. I get that it was my fault, but it’s probably one of the more easier items to find, and simply place in lost and found, the date and room number it was found in. The fact of the condition of the room as I noted above and the fact my shirts were not found, make me incredibly skeptical of the quality and attention to detail that the housekeeping staff provides. Due to that, definitely won’t be back.

We stayed in the one bedroom suite with king bed. The room was so quiet, we didn't hear other guests at all. The bed was so comfortable, we both slept so soundly. I wish I would have remembered to see what it was. The room would be perfect for an extended stay for work-lots of room. Breakfast was pretty good and the views were pretty great from the whole dining room. I was worried with how busy it was, that we wouldn't have a table to sit at-nope, there were plenty to pick from. The elevators were a bit slow, so we took the stairs to breakfast and couldn't get in from the 2nd floor stairwell door. Not sure what that was about. We went all the way down to 1st floor and then went up to the dining room from the lobby. Otherwise, it was a great stay and would, for sure, stay again.

We enjoyed our visit to Minneapolis. Embassy Suites offers great breakfast and reception options. This weekend both of these amenities were overtaxed due to crowded hotel. Not sure how to improve this but the reception ran out of food before it was over and had lines for the bar. Breakfast was super busy with long lines to get a cooked to order egg and running out of things along the way. Would stay here again but not happy with elevators not all being working so slow moving to the 11th floor where our room was and $55 valet parking.
