Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport

3.5 out of 5.0

The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, however, that didn't really make up for the noisiness of the hotel. During the afternoon that was due to some sort of microphoned meeting in the atrium, and during the evening it was due to the pattering of feet outside the door, perhaps as hotel guests ran laps. That eventually died down around midnight, though my brother told me he'd had to pay a visit to upstairs neighbors at 2:30 a.m. to ask them to keep it down. I would assume things might be quieter on week nights.

I love Embassy Suites, but this hotel definitely needs updating. The furniture in the room was very old. The couch was too soft to sit on and sank down. The bed was too soft and had no support. The pool was extremely small and over crowded for the time that we were there. The breakfast and cocktail hour were great, however the lighting in the courtyard area was very dim. Also, there are no electrical outlets on the night stand for a phone charger or medical equipment, so had to reach behind bed to find one. This is a necessity for many people that use c-pap machines etc.

I stayed here on 12/14/16. It was about -8 degrees outside and in the morning, several cars had all of their wheels stolen. Who goes around stealing car wheels let alone in that weather condition?! Does not seem like a safe place to park your car. Also, the front lobby staff are not as accommodating compared to other places I have stayed at. They are not there to serve the customer and lean more towards giving you a quick "no" or "unfortunately" or "nothing I can do" type answer. There are several hotels to choose from in this area so knowing that, I would personally go with another hotel and stay away from this one.

Rooms were nice but got very cold at night! Even with heat on it was very cold. Asked for extra blakets and only given two!! Not enough for the amount of people we had!

Friendly staff, great cocktail hour, loved breakfast. It was a little noisy but good experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom layout was odd. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon. Wifi was spotty.

The hotel room starting to look old and worn. Based on the high hotel star rating, I expected better, updated rooms. The bathroom was very small and outdated. The pull out bed is very small and very uncomfortable.

A decent hotel for one or two nights in the area. I would not use this hotel for any extended stay. Housekeeping did not clean my room or even bring fresh towels until I called the front desk. Also, i was on the 8th floor and the water was very slow to drain.

The overall experience was great! The bathrooms are a little small and the cabinet used to hang clothes had a very musty smell in both of the rooms my family occupied. The breakfast is amazing!!! The food service staff are great! They are friendly, helpful, and keep you table free of finished dishes. Perfect location if visiting the malI! would reccomend this hotel to all my friends who would be traveling to the area.

Great hotel. Very nice staff. Complimentary morning breakfast was amazing! You won't leave hungry. Easy check in and out. Coffee bar and restaurant on site was very nice so we didn't need to search for somewhere to eat. The pool area was a surprise to see a sauna and steam room as well. Being minutes from the airport and mall made it's location perfect!

Very good hotel!++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

No heat in room 1007, they shut off the heat on the 10 th floor. Called desk sent wanted maintenance up with 2 elect heaters ( REALLY ) how safe is that! Next morning I wanted a adjustment NO, points on my Hilton Honors Card. The next ?'s on this survey are answerd only if I get comped!

Not a good two night stay Keys didn't work upon check in and since I have broken leg and on crutches was disappoibted no rooms available on lower floors. I went up slowly but keys didn't open door .....and right back down.........floor 8 was a long trek and I was in pain and disappointed with the start of my visit. Another Gentleman was having key issues as well and although the front desk chap was kind enough to go upstairs and open the door and make new keys I was hurting and didn't even get to stop for the complimentary social hour....just went to bed but couldn't sleep The room smelled like old cheese and when I went to make a cup of coffee there was a dirty coffee maker and no cups Stayed in after meetings around city day number two and entertained two clients at the restaurant downstairs which was quite good and featured some nice menu items The folks in the restaurant were very accommodating bringing me an ice pack for my knee which had now swollen up to twice the normal size. Food was great!!!!!!!!

The staff was helpful one thing we didn't get our room till almost five pm got their around 10:00 am and was told after one pm we should be able to get in came back at 2pm and waited. young man Stephen was very kind and made sure we received a special tray for our wait. Kudos to all your staff they make everyone feel welcome. Yes we will stay again when in town.

The room was large and spacious. The hotel was a bit noisy. There was a wedding going on.

Perfect for quick in and out trip, they cater very well to the business traveler. I would stay again anytime I am inthe MInneapolis area.

Overall this is a great hotel. Close to the airport but I never heard a plane take off (very quiet), and close to the Mall of America for all your shopping needs. Biggest issue is inefficient breakfast set up. Long lines (30 min) and not enough tables at peak times. Could partially solve this immediately by separating the lines for omelets and other hot breakfast items much like every other Embassy I have stayed at does. Only other negative is that the sofa in the room was a bit old and uncomfortable.

My daughter and I come to this hotel every year for a getaway to the mall of America and won't stay anywhere else. The shuttle service to and from the mall and airport is never more than a 15 minute wait and the driver does just about everything to make accommodations work for your schedule. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and staff are Welcoming. The complimentary breakfast and managers reception every day are a must and offer a great variety of options.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay as we were in town for the Twins game. It was easy to get on the light-rail to get to and from the game. We loved the breakfast and the managers reception each night. It was a little hard using the elevators because they really needed more for the number of guests that weekend. Also, could use an upgrade for the provided tissue in the rooms. Otherwise great stay. Thanks!

The room was good enough, and staff was friendly. There was a charge for the WIFI and it was not very good
