My only complaint is the receptionist was wearing a “Thing 1” red sweatshirt - from Dr Suess. The shirt doesn’t offend me or anything but it just seems like a place like the Hampton Inn should expect more from the employees. I’m not saying they even need a collared shirt but it just seemed “tacky” for such a great hotel. That’s all. Thank you

Was in town to visit someone in the hospital but had a good stay at this hotel location. It’s in a busy area close to MSP airport and Mall of America, so unfortunately they do charge a $15 daily rate for parking in their lot. I didn’t know this at the time of booking and made that clear at check-in. Was pleasantly surprised to find out later that the manager waived the parking charges for our three-day stay. Our room on the 5th floor (end unit) was spacious and clean, although not entirely quiet. There was considerable ambient noise from the nearby highway but that was due to the location of the hotel in a busy area. Nothing some ear plugs couldn’t fix. All in all, it was a comfortable stay.
