Holiday Inn Bloomington Airport South Mall Area

room overlooked pool which was very loud until 11 pm. staff should tell you that it is noisy and offer room on side away from pool if desire quiet. heater smelled terrible when we turned it on (burning) so we did not use. could hear conversation of nextdoor guests through bathroom vent. we will not return.

Great Poolside room... perfect for a little getaway with the kids.. we had kids eat free so they had free dinner at Green Mill plus free breakfast and the adults had free breakfast as well. Nice clean rooms and pool area. Very friendly staff willing to help any way they can. Pool is a little on the small side but makes up for it with clean areas. All in all a nice little getaway.

Hotel was clean, staff very friendly, great food in the restaurant. Bed wasn't overly comfortable and kind of noisy by interstate and not far from airport. Good enough hotel

The hotel itself was nice, but couldn't sleep due to the traffic

Unexpected family emergency and staff was super helpful helping with transportation and they were very knowledgeable about the area. Plus, the green mill was amazing!!!!

We got the end room on the 2nd floor (252) facing interior where there is a pool area and banquet hall. An event was taking place in the hall on Sat night with very loud music that was blasting until midnight. The manager did give me a $50 credit for our discomfort. If you stay there ask for an exterior room away from the banquet hall!

The staff was pleasant we needed extra towels and we got them. Air conditioning was not working they came and change it quickly. The ice water with lemons and oranges was great since is was over 90 degrees. The restaurant however was not great service was horrible. Food was ok.

Nearly everything about the hotel was great, quick freeway and airport access, shuttles to the airport and Mall of America, as well as a full Green Mill Restaurant and bar attached (try the bruschetta, it's served with an olive tapenade and was wonderful, nice selection of draft beers as well). I had come to MN for the wedding of close friends, I was excited to visit the state for the first time, happy for my friends, and in a genuinely good mood...Until I was jolted awake at 8AM by screaming children in the pool (yes it is open that early). I wanted nothing more than to enjoy my hotel room, especially the King bed (which is amazing!), and to sleep in on the morning after the wedding, but because my room was poolside, and on the fourth floor, I could do none of that. There is an echo chamber created that unleashes a cacophony of screaming children and their loud parents (or guardians), and all of the splashing noise that goes along with them, directly into the rooms. It was impossible to enjoy the giant plush pillows and cloud like bed, and it ruined my entire stay. One of my travel companions dealt with it by blaring the TV because he was still trying to sleep. However, our friends across the hall experienced none of the noise and were much better able to enjoy their stay. So, long story short, if you are an early riser, have kids, and love pools than please request a poolside room...But if you want to sleep in or have any sort of quiet during the day, then you better get an outer room!!!

I liked everything except the part where the foldable bed was not very comfy at all i've stayed other places where it stays nice and firm. also the AC was not cold at all we were sweating with it on high. also our ceiling was leaking when it rained.

The trip was awesome for my family and I. Everyone was very friendly and helped with whatever we needed.

We were looking for a hotel for our last-minute getaway. Our stay was pleasant, comfortable and relaxing. Short distance from lots of shopping options, restaurants and outdoor activities. Definitely would stay again!

The hotel offers a great 24/7 airport shuttle. It is very convenient and close to the airport

Hotel was good,, staff was great! We shuttled to mall of america, only way to go !

Nice hotel. Little bit out of the way but still within 10 mins of Mall of America. Pool is a bit small but the pool area is very nice and clean.

We've stayed here a few times before. Rooms are fine and so is staff. Cleanliness is good. Some areas of hotel tend to be noisy.

Hotel experience was good. We spent very little time at the hotel as we were attending a family event. The hotel was very clean and convenient for our family activity. We would stay again.

Stayed here while visiting the mall. Staff was very professional. No complaints.

The rooms were a little small. No sofa. I asked for a rollaway bed and it wasn't in the room. The pool was out of service during our two day.

Our overall stay was ok, except for the fact that our shower was lukewarm at best. We called down to the front desk, and they said they'd have maintenance look into it- Never heard back, and our shower was still cold. Not a horrible hotel, but wouldn't stay there again.

We really enjoyed this hotel and look forward to staying there again. The hotel staff were especially helpful.
