I booked through Expedia because Groupon does not allow same day booking:( but I thought Expedia was a good deal we get to the resort and we’re still paying more money way more money on the deposit than the room price we got off Expedia. Nothing really is included. We get to the room we got the wrong room, great wolf lodge did nothing about it. The bathroom was nasty tub was full of hair never drained the water pressure will burn your skin off I’m just really irritated about the whole stay I asked for a refund right away the Mexican manager was soooooooo rude and irate her face stayed red and she spoke in Spanish about us the time we was trying to figure out why things were going south and why numbers are not included into resort fees and third party booking it was two out of ten for me we could of went to holiday inn and still had money and fun

We have a problem with this property on both days when we check in on December 25, all the food vendors are closed and we have no food to eat on site, the next day the slides were all closed on 26 and we were not able to use the facilities, we were planning to stay until the end of the day, but we end up leaving the waterpark went the facilities were closed at noon time

This is a great family resort. My boys really enjoyed their time. They are older so they didn’t do any of the little kid events, but they enjoyed the waterpark & arcade. The staff was friendly especially Sam! Now onto the crazy greedy part of this lodge. You are paying Disney prices for every little thing you do. Hotel rooms … 500$ a night insane, plus parking? Which you have to drive around looking for a spot. Should be included. The rooms are basic no amenities. This is a waterpark hotel you should have plenty of hooks for hanging swim gear. So be prepared. The arcade basically robs you each game is 10 credits or more so you lose money fast, especially with kids. The guy working at the ropes course was so rude!!!! Food is outrageously expensive, order in! Although the pizza at the wolf was delicious. We will never stay or recommend wolf lodge to friends or family. I’d recommend staying at a Home 2 suites and getting a waterpark pass if you want to play at the lodge, Will save you thousands.

Perfect Christmas break get away. Our 10 yr old was happily content with the swimming options. Our older teenagers/young adults enjoyed the slides and lazy river for a while. The lifeguards were very attentive, which was great!!! Plenty of tables/chairs in pool area, we enjoyed many card games. The bar at the pool was nice, good service but very spendy. There are lots of other fun things outside of the waterpark that we didn't do so no feedback on that. Mobile ordering at the restaurant or Dunkin Donut weren't available when we wanted to use that service, which was a bummer. We ended up ordering food from outside of the resort. The ice cream parlor had nice options, only negative was it didn't open til 4pm. We would have liked ice cream more mid afternoon vs. so close to dinner time. There was free hot chocolate in the lobby at one point, so that was a nice treat. The fireplace in the lobby was decorated so beautiful for Christmas, we took some nice family pictures. We stayed in the Queen cabin room w/ waterpark balcony. We had 2 adults & 4 kids/teenagers. Two of our kids are tall older teenagers, they said the bunk beds were a little short. We only stayed 2 nights so it was fine but i think a longer stay would have got quite uncomfortable for them. The room size was fine for the about of time we were in the room. A bigger table on the balcony would have been nice, we could've played cards/games while sitting out there. Nice stay!!

Probably won’t be back

The room was great and kids loved the bunk beds. The floor in the pool area and near any of the floor drains was disgusting and covered in hair and dirtiness. The pool also has way too much chlorine. We were all super red and felt burned after swimming for a couple hours. Also the lifeguards are constantly moving their heads like they’re looking everywhere but their eyes don’t move. Was scary to watch them do a drill throwing a dummy baby into the wave pool and none of the lifeguards noticed and the head lifeguard had to tell them to go get it. She then took time to take off her shoes and set her walkie talkie on her shoes and went to get it after it fell off the shoes. All before saving the (fake) child. It was not reassuring. They also wouldn’t let my son who is 44inches tall go in the slides by himself when it said you could have you were over 42inches. They said he was too small even when we questioned them and okayed him to go by himself. They said no.

We had the BEST time at GWL! The staff was amazing, and there were so many activities for the kids we couldn’t fit it all in! My only complaint is the food is not great but that’s an easy fix by ordering out

Okay stay..

Overall it was an okay stay. Nothing really stood out in a “wow” way. Staff mostly seemed miserable to work there and hardly smiled. The front desk clerk charged me the $200 incidental fee on the wrong card and then charged me again on another card. That was annoying. Stuff is also extremely overpriced.. like Disneyworld prices on merchandise. Waterpark was fun though and the room was decent. i probably would stay somewhere else next time i visit Minnesota.
