The property itself was beautiful, and the room was absolutely stunning. However, there were a few service-related issues that took away from the overall experience. The room was stocked with only two bath towels and two washcloths, which felt limited for an executive suite.
Check-in was inconsistent and disappointing. As new Marriott Bonvoy members, we were looking forward to learning more about the property. The group ahead of us received detailed information about the hotel, restaurants, bars, hours, and checkout. When it was our turn, the agent was very brief and offered no information at all. When I asked questions, she simply pointed in the direction of the bar without explanation.
I also asked that our Marriott Bonvoy points be entered and was told they were, but they were not reflected on our account. Additionally, we were never informed that our room included breakfast, so we missed out on that benefit entirely.
We had reserved an Executive Suite with a city view, and while the room itself met expectations, the lack of communication and uneven customer service made the stay not at the level than it should have been.
