Great hotel in a great location. even though you are in the middle of a city, you don't really feel it in this hotel. Everyone was very nice and the room was well taken care of. For the price and location, you cannot go wrong. I will stay there again next time I am in Minneapolis.

We asked for a room away from elevators and the ice machine and we did get a very quiet room. There was a volleyball tournament going on in Minneapolis while we there and a lot of young volleyball players stayed at the hotel. Because of our room location, we never heard them! The hotel is older and the suite we had was very small, but it met our needs. The entry to the room was a little awkward, as was getting into the closet space. We very much appreciated the shuttle which dropped us off at the Twins game and picked us up again. The downtown location was great.

The hotel was much more than we expected. The front desk staff went out of their way to assist us every day. Lynette at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The room/suite was more than you could ask for. Our room attendant took extra care to our needs when cleaning the room if we came back before she was done. She was the most courteous attendant we have experienced in our travels. You can tell the Normandy has a training program that focuses on the needs of the traveler. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I make it back to Minneapolis. The hotel is also easy to get to from the airport; just a couple of blocks from the rail station. We did all of our site seeing using the skyway and light rail. The property is well maintained, had a great smoking area outside for smokers that sees to our needs while allowing non-smokers smoke free access past our area, and the Normandy kitchen is Top Chef quality. I can't say enough good about this hotel. Yes some of their furnishings are a bit dated but that just adds to the charm and experience.

Well most places usually offer some sort of deal for military vets. Also little better treatment for customers. For the price of service expected more in experience than what was received

English tudor style. Bldg inside and out is old and needs updating. Rooms are partially updated and very comfortable. Had breakfast and the food was awesome! Hotel check in staff could use some customer service training.

Very nice Staff, good location in Downtown Minneapolis.

exceeded expectations, will be my first choice next time

Worked out very well. More expensive than I would have preferred but over all I would stay there again. The front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The room was great! We stayed for two nights and had received an upgrade to our room with no additional charge. It had a living room area with a small bar and sink, along with a large suite with king size bed. The bathroom was clean and had recently been remodeled. Only concern was to access the bathroom you had to walk through the bedroom area, which was fine for us, but a little awkward for our visitors to use. But overall great service and wonderful room and location to downtown. Would definitely stay again!

Everything went very smoothly. Nice place to stay. Shuttle to and from the concert. Staff very helpful.

We were quite pleased with this hotel. The staff with whom we interacted were cheerful and helpful. This was only 3 blocks from where the meetings were held. The price of parking was comparatively quite good. For a big city hotel, the price wasn't all that bad. We liked the view out our window. The beds & pillows were wonderful. It was a good experience.

I stayed at the Best Western Normandy Inn & Suites for two nights while at a conference. It was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The hotel was clean and quiet, with comfortable beds, helpful staff, a very good restaurant in the building, and free wi-fi. Though it was not the official conference hotel, it was still within walking distance of the conference center. I sometimes feel uncomfortable at the sort of grand hotels where conferences usually take place, but the Normandy Inn & Suites didn't seem to have any of those pretensions, so I felt right at home.

Absurdly overpriced for a very outdated hotel. Walls so thin you can hear everything. Old saggy mattress. No microwave in room - isn't that just standard now? Smelled like fresh air hadn't circulated in five years. AC so loud that it practically work me up every time it came in. And it smelled mildewy.

Very clean hotel. Had a King suite which was very comfortable, enjoyed the extra room and fridge and microwave. Pool and lounge area was nice. Only complaint I had was that I had visitors that came in the middle of the night and were questioned by the front desk if we were going to have a party. The front desk worker said we will throw you out and you wont get a refund . This was embarassing for me as I was the guest of this hotel. There was no party, there were no complaints. I felt like this hotel had a curfew and bedtime.

This place surprised me on so many different levels. The price was very reasonable, the room was beautiful and the food was excellent. I ordered the walleye I would make a special trip just to get it again. Love this place!!

very nice and quite. service of staff was outstanding! restaurant/food very good! a great place to stay for business.

If you need to be in the South Minneapolis area, certainly a large, full-service, very clean opportunity. Not much personality.

I stayed here due to the proximity to Target Field. It also offers shuttle service to the games. It's a nice, reasonably priced place. Everything was in order and worked without issues.

This hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. We stayed at it for a concert that was at the Target Center, a little bit of a walk but not bad at all.

The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect! I could walk to many of the places I needed to be at. The room was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
