Wonderful staff! Great room! Perfect stay! We will visit again.

Pleasant staff, clean room, cool decor, good price for a very nice room. I’ll be selecting this hotel again in the future!

Very cool historic building. Good brewery with great food in the same building.

It has old world charm. Great location! Friendly service. Spacious room.

Very helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. Great bed.

I love the charm of the rooms that replicate the building's historical connection to the city. Shipping, brewery, the lake.

Nice stay. Would return in future. Great location.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. My only issue was the steps in the bedroom. I had to walk up 2 steps after entering the room to get on the main floor of the room where the bed and TV was. Other then that, it was a very nice and comfortable place to stay.

We enjoined our stay, the rooms are so quaint and each is unique, makes it fun every time. The Boathouse is a great place for dinner and the continental breakfast included with the room is very nice as well.

The history and ambiance was amazing. Service was impeccable. So convenient as well. Didnt even need to leave the property if we didnt want to, and still didnt get a chance to explore and experience everything. I am lookong forward to going back again.

My wife and i had a great time staying here. So many things to do close by and the complimentary shuttle was great in this cold weather!

Beautiful view and quiet. Great shower and comfy bed.

We booked a standard room and would have upgraded if it was available since we only had a partial Lake Superior view. We did enjoy a happy hour at the Boat House outdoor space right on the lake side which offered a beautiful view and comfortable seating either under the umbrellas on the patio or on the deck Nice bonus was the continental breakfast. The room was small but cozy. Only one elevator but we used the stairs most of the time. This is a older hotel but well kept. We took in the Duluth experience brewery tour which was great fun and highly recommended. They picked us up and dropped us off right in front of the hotel.

Small room, AC questionable could not get it cold enough, refrigerator was not working when we arrived. Mattress was too hard. I believe room was way over priced. Not enough choices with Continental breakfast. Although Staff was top notch.

Staying at Fitger's was something special for our anniversary. I have always seen it and known about it but never stayed there. It is a grand old building with wonderful shops and exemplary staff of the old school. I will have to say I was disappointed in our room, it did have a Lakeview but out of a window 2 feet by 3 feet that did not offer much of a view especially considering the price. It is old-world Elegance but I think it's overpriced. The continental breakfast is on par with any Motel 6. The location cannot be beat it has a beautiful walkway along Lake Superior 4 miles with benches for viewing.

Very nice hotel with laid back staff and free covered parking. Easy access, light traffic downtown Duluth. Right next to Lake Superior on lakeside walkway. Room was large with a nice view of town. My only complaint is the "continental breakfast". Their free breakfast is insultingly skimpy. Consisting of white bread toast, white bagels, cheerios and coffee (no protein at all). I have had much, much better breakfasts at budget hotels that cost 1/3 per night. The poor quality of their free breakfast is to obviously cause people to walk across the room to the other side of the restaurant to order better food. (you're not even allowed to sit in the side of the restaurant with windows for the free breakfast) Instead of insulting people that pay over $200 per night with free junk food, just do away with any free form of breakfast and charge a reasonable flat fee for a decent breakfast. Overall this is a very nice place but the poor quality of their breakfast cheapens the establishment.
