Great stay

We had a great stay, very welcoming staff, our room was very spacious and comfortable. The Restaurant was very nice, food was delicious. And the breakfast was one of the best we've had at hotel in a long time.

The noise from the train station was constant. It was fine for us because we are not light sleepers. For those who are, it may be hard to sleep. However, the convenience of being so close to the station was a plus for us.

Overall good stay.

Lovely welcome with friendly Reception to check us in. Room lovely and clean, comfortable bed. Sadly one lift out of action and one very small lift. Breakfast service wasn't the best- both coffee machines out of action despite 2 x members of staff stood around so I had to flag this up, but once done was rectified straight away. Average breakfast. Hotel is in a great location, even better that it was super close to the Empire Theatre and there was plenty of parking- free for guests. Cocktails/drinks offer reasonably priced buy would've liked more selection.

Good

Hotel is right next to a train station and walking distance to the shops. Bar attached did lovely cocktails which were buy 1 get 1 free between 6-8pm. Breakfast was lovely. Bed was comfortable and room generally clean although 1 towel had marks on and radiator was very dusty which isnt great as my husband has allergies. 1 of the Ellivators wasnt working so we had to wait quite a while as it was also very small. On the whole it was good value for money and i would stay again if i visited liverpool.

They let me check in early after I asked to drop my bags, but cannot say I was impressed with the room, beds were awful, an old floor fan to keep cool which sounded like it was just about to self destruct, an old mini-bar fridge no longer in use (Why leave it?) not a terrible hotel but not a place I would book again.

Great location and comfy room.

Lovely quiet room apart from people slamming doors at all hours. I did mention this to reception, obviously not their fault but just as an observation in the hope that the doors can be adjusted in the future. Stayed previously and staying again in the future. Lovely comfy bed. Staff friendly and good choice for breakfast, even for vegans like me.

Convenient for concerts and friendly staff

The liner is a brilliant location, very close to Lime Street station, but you don’t hear it. We were staying as we were attending a concert at Anfield. They put on shuttle busses for £6 return and pick up and drop off 2 streets away from The Liner which was really convenient. Staff are all very friendly, the rooms don’t have air conditioning but we had a fan in our room which we put on all night (hot summer). The bathrooms are a little dated but clean. The bath was quite high to step into for a shower.
