We really enjoyed our Christmas party night this year, as we did last year. There were a few issues but nothing that can’t be resolved for our next party. We will definitely be booking for Christmas 2018.
Enjoyed overnight stay and would like to stay longer next time.Hotel was very central and easy to get to shops and attractions.Cleanliness was first class and the breakfast was superb..The only disappointment was that we were told that although we had not booked dinner if we came to the restaurant after 6pm we would get a table. When we went back we were told that it was too busy so we had to eat elsewhere.
Works night out in December. The venue itself was lovely. One of our colleagues stayed at the hotel for the night and her room was immaculate. All the staff we encountered were really pleasant and couldn’t do enough for everyone. The waiting area with the bar just before we went in for our meal was packed and far too warm! We had wristbands for our drinks so didn’t take too long to get served. But the bar was a bit small/understaffed for the amount of people. The room where the meal was being served was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The food was delicious and piping hot. We are considering this venue again for the next works night out.
superb hotel. staff more than willing to help with anything x car park facilities excellent x lovely rooms free wifi and super breakfast x also had a bar meal in their castaway pub which was excellent value for money x
Our second stay at the liner's penthouse, and we will be back ! Superb value for money in a top class room which has been newly renovated. Free in room bar on arrival, flowers, newspapers etc. Staff also excellent and very helpful at all times. Well done.
I have stopped in the hotel many times over the years due to its very good location , I returned in December with family to attend a match and we booked 3 rooms , In my early visits there was a very nice residents bar that stayed open late which was very good if attending an evening game and you fancied a late drink ,in recent times this was then moved to the bar next door the castaway which while not really helpful to residents it served its purpose for a late drink ,in our latest visit we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm and asked would it be possible for a nightcap and was told the bar was shut . The hotel is obviously trying to make cutbacks which is fair enough but one of the main reasons most people pay a lot of money to stop in a hotel in a city break is to avail of services such as a residents bar and the option of a drink if you return late .. We ended up going out the following night and the hotel lost the revenue of 6 thirsty football fans ,whilst I can't fault the accomadation ,staff etc I would probably stay elsewhere in future somewhere that provided full hotel services.
Nice place, neer the city center, breakfast OK. Room and bed very good, ..en very clean for a *** hotel !!. Free parking. We will stay here again if we visit Liverpool in the future. Keep up the good work
Second time I have stayed at the Liner and again it was excellent. Ideal location, comfy clean rooms. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. We also got drinks vouchers as we had booked our room direct with the hotel
Good hotel with pleasant staff. In a great position for central shopping in Liverpool. Next to lime Street station but never once heard a train. Free parking a bonus and breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Book the breakfast included option to save money. Rooms a tad small even though we booked a king deluxe. Well equipped with towels etc and comfortable beds. Noisy radiator for a while but it settled down. Would stay again
Rear rooms overlook the station, but have impressive soundproof glazing. Room was nicely set up, clean and comfortable, not huge but not cramped. Some of the corridors and staircases are a bit faded, if you're not keen on using lifts. If you're just passing, find an excuse to go into the lobby just to see the enormous and spectacular aquarium.
