Excellent location for theatre trip and general proximity to the city centre. Lovely staff. Checked in by a wonderful lady called Susan who really was so kind and helpful. Breakfast and parking included in our price made this hotel such good value for money. Would certainly book again if visiting in the future.

Absolutely excellent and friendly staff members working in a crumbling old hotel near the station. An odd smell over the food at breakfast made me sick unfortunately. Wouldn't bother paying additional to add breakfast here.

Don't be fooled by the look of the outside of The Liner Hotel. From the moment we walked into the entry we were impressed. From the check in, the lobby, our room, the restaurant for dinner and breakfast we enjoyed every bit of our time. Has to be the best value for money in Liverpool. We highly recommed staying here.

From check in to check out everything was great- reception staff friendly and helpful - my room was spacious - I liked the bathroom plenty of hot water and real fluffy towels , what I found particularly useful was a space in the bath/shower to put your shampoo etc- would have preferred a walk in shower though, everything was very clean. Plenty of storage space, think I when I stay here again I’ll book a double room - breakfast was the usual help yourself buffet - there was two other restaurants- the seven seas brasserie and the castaway bar - I had an evening dinner in the brasserie, service was ok- the hotel is a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station and a handy taxi rank. All in all I’d stay here again.
