Visited The Liner with 5 school friends. Hotel very central and comfortable. Hotel restaurant very good. Staff very friendly and helpful, although breakfast manager a little stern. Overall a good place to stay and reasonable price.
Went to the Liner restaurant on a pre theatre meal. Good choice and reasonable priced. My friend and l both chose the prawn starter. Absolutely delicious. We both then had the fish meal which was beautifully presented and tasted heavenly. We were both quite full but decided to have the dessert. Waffles ice cream with toffee sauce also delicious. Couldn't fault the experience at all. The staff were lovely and knowledgeable regarding the menu. Going again September when we see another show.
Nice value for money room. Clean and tidy. Bar staff a bit surly and closed early. Reluctant to make a coffee after 10.30 pm. Seemed in a mood. Bar a bit tacky but Air conditioned and a great relief in the recent heat wave. Restaurant looked clean if a little empty. Overall a nice place to have a central hub to explore Liverpool.
Very friendly staff, clean and well stocked room with a good selection of drinks and bathroom goods. The rooms were spacious and quiet, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and did recommend the hotel to friends.
only criticism was the receptionist raised voice when we checked out, she must have thought we had hearing difficulty. Having said that they ordered taxis for us when required. Breakfast was very good £10:00 each but we went up for extras no problem.
We loved this hotel's location. It was right next to the Lime Street Train Station, which was very convenient as we rode in on the train. It was a very short walk to a mall, the art museum, a really neat library, and a couple good restaurants. (We really liked Ma Egerton's Pizza Pub) The location was also a very short drive from Beatles attractions and Prince Albert's Docks. Our room was large by European standards and very well maintained. The room had a large comfortable bed and a great view. Breakfast was also good. The food was more of a European style, but they had a lot of different stuff, so it was possible to find something you'd like.
Delighted with all aspects of service. This includes the phone calls to make the booking, welcome and assistance. Staff manners impeccable. Quality accommodation, so convenient for the train station. No problems with noise. We were in Room 417 and it was immaculate. Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable. We attended the FEPOW conference and the service was first class. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Facilities were very clean and well-stocked.
We love the hotel and always stay there because it is so convenient for exploring the city, galleries, museums, music venues and the surrounding area - eg train trips to Chester, Port Sunlight, Southport etc
Great location, literally round the corner form Lime Street railway station. Lovely room, although could have done with air con in this warm weather. Great choice at breakfast and really good value (£6.95). Castaway bar attached to hotel is great and to top it all there was prosecco on tap! Great hotel and would highly recommend staying here.
Have stayed before at the Liner, great location next to Liverpool Lime Street. We drove and there is a complimentary car park next door for hotel customers to use. It's five minutes walk into the centre no need for taxis. We had breakfast in the hotel good choice of food including continental breakfast. There is a nice bar on site with a nice menu of snacks. Will definitely return to the Liner.
