We visited this weekend the 16th June for a 2 night stay to celebrate our engagement and my partners birthday. The room was extremely poor value, stains on the wall and ceiling. The cabinet belonged in a skip it was that damaged. The room was so hot as no air con and we couldn’t have the window due to being on top of the railway works so was so noisy! I messaged privately to express my disappointment as didn’t really like leaving poor reviews without them having the opportunity to rectify but got nothing back apart from we will try and see you at some point. We were out all weekend as that’s why we had visited Liverpool. It would have been nice to be offered a different room on our return to the hotel in the evening but nothing. We were very disappointed on check out that no one seemed really bothered we had such a poor stay. I think at £200 the room should not be in use.

Very good location, next to Lime Street Station, convenient for central Liverpool. Comfortable rooms, good food, friendly and helpful staff and very good hotel for reunions or large meetings. Good value hotel

excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent food a perfect night away. we stayed in Liverpool city for the first time, normally we stay the otherside of the river, what a great hotel, central to all facilities, well worth a visit

We stayed one night at this hotel. It is really beautiful. We were on 6th floor. Some difficulties with the room phone and setting up WiFi in room. When seeking help by dialing 0 in both cases the lass that answered was no help at all and told us to ask reception. However on going downstairs to reception, the staff were all very helpful and able to solve our problems quickly. Note: the WiFi when connecting came up with a strong security waning each time. However staff member came up to our room to help us and said it was quite safe ... it was just a 'glitch' they were having with their system. It would have been good to have this explained when checking in to save everybody's time. Breakfast was lovely and lots available in a lovely area. Overall very happy with our stay ... hotel is in a very good position too.

I rate the place highly for location,it's close to everything you want to see in Liverpool city! I like the fact that it has a reasonably sized free car park and a restaurant and bar for it's guests. I like the touch of the shortbread biscuits in the room with a well stocked mini bar.I marked it down only because the sheets on our second day were not replaced and they were dirty and on our first day the red sheet placed on our bed had a hole in it.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and our 2 year old son. We had a family room which consisted of 2 connecting bedrooms and 1 bathroom all of which were very clean. We had asked for a travel cot which was in the room and sheets had been provided for it. As a lot of people have already mentioned-the rooms were stiflingly hot and the windows opened about 2 inches which meant we didn’t sleep that well. A little fan had been provided but was no use at all and was very loud. Other than the heat of the rooms we had no complaints, breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again as it’s very central for everything.

Stayed two nights in June, staff friendly, room comfortable and very handy for city centre. The only drawback is that there is no air conditioning and we were there during a spell of good weather which made the room get very hot and could only open the window a couple of inches which didn’t help although there was a fan provided but not much WiFi and parking

Very well placed for the centre of Liverpool We enjoyed our stay with colleagues from 50 years ago, revisiting old haunts Staff well drilled and a good breakfast to set us up for the day Watch out for the hen parties at the weekend!

From check in through to check out an enjoyable stay. Room and bed both comfortable. Buffet breakfast very good. The hotel is ideal for the city centre and Lime Street railway station. Highly recommended.

We have just come back from a break in Liverpool. This is the second time we have stayed at the liner. The girls at the front of house are a credit to the hotel. They helped us when our key cards weren’t working and sorted it straight away. We had a meal in the brasserie restaurant food was fantastic. The buffet breakfast was also great. The chef and staff kept replenishing when things were running low everything was hot. The staff were friendly too. The room was clean and tidy. The cleaning team were so freindly also. Steve the duty manager remembered us the last time we stayed . We will definitely be back sometime to stay!!!!!
