I booked this hotel due to price & location I was unsure of what it would be like after reading some of the reviews, but found that my stay was hassle free. It is a convenient location with everything within walking distance. The hotel room was basic but comfortable, suitable for those staying on a budget, the hotel is a little dated & could do with a bit more of a clean, breakfast is continental which included toast, cereal, fruit & yoghurt, I skipped it the next morning & opted for the weatherspoons round the corner! TV had no remote control & wifi was next to no signal. this hotel was quiet whilst I was there, but there is a large music venue next door & lime street liverpool train station right across the road so I can imagine it is noisy if at the front of the hotel & if music events are taking place, I was fortunate to have a room at the back & there were no events taking place over the weekend I was there. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay & for those on a budget.
This hotel is in a very good location with just a minute walk from liverpool line street station. The staff were very welcoming and helpful however the hotel feels very dated and overpriced for what it was. The room was clean but very basic. I found that the bathroom door handle didn't work so I could of been trapped in the bathroom if I had closed the door with no window to escape out of! This hotel is alright for a single person who just wants a bed for the night but I wouldn't recommend for couples.
Conveniently located next to Lime Street Station. Excellent bed/large room. Huge TV! Perfectly adequate Bathroom. Quiet. Friendly, attentive staff. Suitable for single travellers. Thank you for my stay.
Stayed here one Saturday night, it's great right next to train station easy to find. Rooms comfortable and quiet I had a single 203 and breakfast good. Staff really friendly and engaging. Will stay there again...thanks.
Fantastic location, lovely, clean rooms, brilliant staff, fantastic breakfast...all in all a superb bank holiday break made all the better by staying here, will definitely stay again when I'm in Liverpool.
Ideal for where I was working - the hotel was just what I needed no issues had and all at a very reasonable price! Rooms are comfortable and hotel has every facility and breakfast (although continental) was to a good standard,
Good location for lime st and 2 or 3 mins walk to main shops and bars. Work going on opposite can be a bit noisy if you at teh front didnt bother me though. Room smallish bathroom bigger ! could do with a lick of paint. Massive TV. Bed a bit hard/ Long hair in tea cup. Breakfast good for what is advertised. Staff friendly cant really argue at price paid.
Can not fault this place for location, right next to the station, and close to buses and cabs.An ideal base for a weekend away, and this may also be a downside for those looking for somewhere quiet. We went midweek and was relatively quiet, but bare in mind when bokmi g it is next to the o2 music academy so imagine it's get noiser at weekends. The warnings about nosie on the back of the bedroom doors may also indicate the level noose expected from other guests.Buy if your in liverpool for a lovely weekend yourself I don't think this will effect you.As with all Liverpool establishments can't fault the service from staff,a pleasant change from service in similar hotels in London.Good room size well maintained and had all you could need for a night away.Breakfast is continental and was more than enough, with close by ships should you need a bigger breakfast.Despite the hotel looking in need of a bit of redecocration I would stay here again and highly recommed
Stayed for the weekend of the Open golf. First thing to note the hotel didnt put up its prices unlike most others in the city. Booked because it was cheap, didnt expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Its not 5 star luxury, but you know what you're getting when you book. Ideal location next to LIme St station, very friendly staff, free continental breakfast (which was more than enough to fuel us for a day of walking at the golf), clean rooms and comfy bed. The shower power and heat weren't great but otherwise cant fault it. Would happily book again if I'm back in Liverpool
ideal location, right next to lime street, very clean and tidy, rooms were just what we were looking for, staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for you,the older guy at front desk was very friendly,a definite recommendation and will stay here again,if visiting liverpool
