My friend and I stayed here in 2 single rooms, we thought it was great value for money, breakfast was a good standard with no restrictions if you wanted more. All the staff were lovely - Big bonus! Planning on staying again next year as great location and allowed us to store cases and wait in their lounge later on in the day instead of in the train station. It is a budget hotel and as long as you are happy with that you will be very happy with the place, very clean bedding, towels and a great hot shower!
Stayed for two nights, room was clean, bathroom was huge. Breakfast had a choice of fruit juices, cereals, croissant and toast with cold meat, cheese, jams, plenty of tea or coffee offered. For a budget hotel we found it to be more than adequate. Round the corner from Lime Street station and very close to subway and bus station. Short walk to town. Staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again.
This is a great stay for great price. I stayed here for one night, it was very well located next to the train station. The room was clean and quiet with big flat TV and nice private bathroom. I would recommend this hotel.
Within 2 mins walk of Liverpool Lime Street and The Empire Theatre, to which I was going one night. Was made to feel extremely welcome by the receptionist, Patrick, who subsequently helped me with other issues during my stay. The single room is basic but more than adequate. A good small double bed, clean towels and en-suite. My only gripe here is using the shower as you had to put on the sink hot taps and then run the shower and then wait........not very efficient and what a waste of water! Not sure if this applied only to my room or to the entire hotel. Breakfast is standard 'Continental' with a good variety of cereals, yogurts, cheese spreads, fruit, fruit juice, tea, coffee, breads plus an efficient toaster. I ate quite early so service was fast with only one waitress. Perhaps later and busier could be slower? Yes, the floor boards do creak so I could hear above me (and certainly the room below) and depending on who your neighbour is, you can hear loud voices and televisions BUT all the staff with whom I spoke were very friendly/helpful and I would certainly stay here again. The hotel looses a star because of the shower system.
Most unhelpful of night reception /staff. I asked if I could move to another room because of humming noise coming through the ceiling. No mate was the answer unless I was willing to cough up for the price of a double room! They were not even full to capacity and still not willing to help me out!!!!!
No frills, but it was clean and tidy, the bed was comfy, you had a 42" TV, plenty of hot water and staff were lovely, I thought it was possibly a bit dear, but I'm not experienced at hotel room rates so could be wrong! I would go again.
Spent two nights in the hotel whilst on a stag do. Rooms were very basic, the bathrooms wasn't very clean. The service of the staff however was spot on, everything was done with a smile. If your after a budget hotel with no frills, good location and friendly staff, look no further...
Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights in September. We knew that it was a budget hotel when we booked. However I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. Although our room was basic, it was comfortable, extremely clean with a huge bathroom. The staff were so friendly too. The breakfast was more that adequate, nice continental style. This hotel is in a fantastic location, just minutes from Lime Street train station and close to shopping centres. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Liverpool.
I booked this hotel due to price & location I was unsure of what it would be like after reading some of the reviews, but found that my stay was hassle free. It is a convenient location with everything within walking distance. The hotel room was basic but comfortable, suitable for those staying on a budget, the hotel is a little dated & could do with a bit more of a clean, breakfast is continental which included toast, cereal, fruit & yoghurt, I skipped it the next morning & opted for the weatherspoons round the corner! TV had no remote control & wifi was next to no signal. this hotel was quiet whilst I was there, but there is a large music venue next door & lime street liverpool train station right across the road so I can imagine it is noisy if at the front of the hotel & if music events are taking place, I was fortunate to have a room at the back & there were no events taking place over the weekend I was there. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay & for those on a budget.
This hotel is in a very good location with just a minute walk from liverpool line street station. The staff were very welcoming and helpful however the hotel feels very dated and overpriced for what it was. The room was clean but very basic. I found that the bathroom door handle didn't work so I could of been trapped in the bathroom if I had closed the door with no window to escape out of! This hotel is alright for a single person who just wants a bed for the night but I wouldn't recommend for couples.
