Stay at Hampton Hilton Liverpool

Are stay at Hampton was enjoyable even though we only there for one night. We were there for a concert and venue was 10min walk from hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and climate comfortable, bit tight for space as we had a sofa bed made up for a twin room so didn't leave much room but beds were comfortable , it is an over all good hotel to stay at.

pros: room was nice, but view wasn't great. Location by the docks was nice. cons: Breakfast area is small and choice of food on offer is limited. Food also sells out quite fast on weekends and isn't replaced. TV remote didn't work when turning it on/ off, so had to get up and press the switch. Can hear noise from the nearby pub downstairs.

Night and day

Gone middle of the road for my ratings as staying for 2 nights were like night and day. The 1 receptionist didn’t tell me about paying for parking and then the next days charged me for 1 night as I could have been fined as an independent company run the car park. Breakfast again was 2 different experiences, 1st day was a mess, tables dirty, no bacon for the last 45minutes of service, I heard 1 customer told we have no more bread for toast. 2nd day complete opposite. Room door didn’t lock properly as we would notice it wouldn’t click shut like most hotels rooms do. Very noisy throughout the night due to late comers from nights out.

The cleanliness was excellent. The bed was hard, uncomfortable and you could feel the springs, they either need to change the mattress or add a topper. Breakfast was good but you need to start adding fried eggs and mushrooms. Staff were very helpful and always polite.
