Absolutely loved staying here. Went with wife for one night break. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Made you feel important. I had Club Access so had extras. Used the Spa facilities such as pool, jacuzzi, Sauna and steam room. Wow! Unfortunately the treatments were fully booked so couldn’t try which was the only negative. View and location was great.
From the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming & friendly. We were welcomed by Luke at reception who was lovely. We were given a free upgrade to a sea view, which was stunning. Our room was modern, warm & welcoming. We had a drink in the bar & we got complimentary nuts which was a lovely touch, the bar manager (Michael)went above & beyond to help us make the most of our stay, very helpful. Will definitely be returning, staff couldn't have been nicer 😊
Really lovely stay, the bed was the comfiest I've ever been in. All hotel staff were lovely - special shout out to mashud who made our stay extra special. Loved his enthusiasm and compassion. Nice facilities, amazing food and super super clean rooms! Thankyou!
Could not find fault with anything. All the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. Clean, comfortable room with superb view over the Mersey. All major attractions in walking distance. We made full use of the pool and the facilities and the added bonus of the club lounge was excellent. Breakfast offered a wide range of food to cover all requirements and we will definitely make this our first hotel choice when we return to Liverpool.
Definitely the worst customer service we have received at any hotel. Reception, bar staff and breakfast staff all provided us with dreadful service with the worse attitude we have ever encountered. Staff appeared more interested in what activity happened the previous night (there were lots of photos and videos being viewed on their phones). Rooms were dirty and sink had long brunette hairs left from previous user. On the plus side, great location and comfy bed. There are more hotels in the city, so won't be staying here again.
The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly The hotel room was amazing and the price we paid was a good value for money I would definitely book again It’s not far walking distance from the town centre/ bars and clubs Thank you
Very helpful staff, a really well-appointed room, and a great restaurant. Brilliant location opposite the Royal Liver Building, with many local attractions in easy walking distance. I enjoyed my stay -- impressive hotel -- and a great city to visit.
Just stayed for one night as we had gone up to Liverpool to watch the fireworks on the Mersey(They were excellent) My wife and I had one room , my sister had another . Our rooms were not quite ready on arrival but we were extremely well looked after by Luke who made us a hot drink and kept us informed about our rooms which were ready in a few minutes. Rooms were clean with nice big bed . After fireworks went back to hotel for nice bottle Champagne and sandwiches where we were very well looked after by Niamh. Breakfast was excellent and the few little problems were expertly handled by Rommy on reception .
As an ihg platinum member I have to say this was not a fantastic experience. Luke did his best to resolve the issues but it took a long time to reach a satisfactory conclusion. The hotel is ok. Breakfast was good as is the location. The rooms were average - I believe we were in an upgraded room with a partial view of the docklands. Unfortunately you couldn't swing a cat in it and there was a vile smell coming from the bathroom. Staff (Luke aside) let the side down immeasurably. I won't be hurrying back
First Impressions mean a lot in a hotel... Greeted by friendly member of staff, offered to help with my luggage - clean and Smart reception area - very open plan and welcoming. I was in room 400 which offered a beautiful view of the Dock Area. The Bar menu was more than sufficient to eat from - and again the staff were excellent - they were friendly and attentive but not invasive which Is a true art. As a Spire Elite member I stay in property's 2-3 nights a week - and this Hotel is truly one of the best...That Nice Im planning a weekend here Christmas Shopping in December with my wife !!
