We stayed here for just one night before catching the IOM ferry the next day. We had a waterfront view from our room which was stunning. The room was large & comfortable and the shower was excellent. It would have been nice if the window had opened, but I guess it's "health & safety" !! I wasn't overly impressed with the breakfast, but it was okay. The staff though were very friendly & welcoming. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
My boyfriend and I stayed here as a birthday treat and what a treat we had! On arrival we were given a complimentary drink each at the bar. Emily, at reception was very professional and offered us ideas on where to eat. She was very pleasant and made us feel really welcome. Our room, which Emily had arranged to be river view, was fantastic. All the little detail made our stay very special. When we arrived back after our day out complimentary cake had been put in our room as a birthday treat. Thank you Emily and team for making our stay perfect, worth very penny 😊
The location could not be more convenient. We were here toward the end of a long trip and the modern rooms were a welcome comfort. Staff was super nice. I highly recommend this hotel. We were on the fourth floor facing the river and had an incredible view from our room. Club level lounge was well stocked and provides for a nice breakfast or evening libation.
This is a very good location although a bit further up the Strand than some of the other business hotels. If you want to walk in to the shopping streets it is a bit of a pain crossing numerous roads but that is because it is set away from the main drag and therefore a lot quieter. There is on site parking (for a fee). To the credit of all concerned, it has the same corporate identity as other Crowne Plazas and if you are used to that style of hotel you will feel completely at home.
High quality bedrooms and a modern hotel with mini spa. Breakfast was varied and tasty although I was disappointed by the salmon dinner the night before. It was greasy and small. Nevertheless it didn't ruin the enjoyment of my visit. They have a run station, which is a nice touch and the staff were efficient and friendly. Highly recommended
I was staying at the Crown Plaza Liverpool for a wedding and had room booked. Wedding. Well organized wedding. The bride and groom made to feel special. Food lovely. They're suite room was incredible. It overlooked the Liver building and is totally breathtaking. The staff here are very helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much of a problem. We were helped many times, helping guests get new key cards they'd lost, and happy to help in anyway they could. Our room 124 Beautiful. A standard double, spotlessly clean, overlooking the Mersey. Towels, dressing gowns, comfy bed. Well worth the price. Breakfast fantastic, help yourself buffet and great veggie option. Again totally flawless. Highly recommend for a stay in Liverpool.
Had a lovely stay in this hotel with my Mum, the spa area and pool were lovely and the food was fantastic would highly recommend the club lounge, the staff were all lovely and helpful. The room and views were just amazing too 👌👌
3 night stay visiting family, great service all round, staff friendly and helpful made to feel welcome better than experience of any staff in London hotels. Room facing river very quiet and comfortable, bottled water in room complimentary which was a first for me. Breakfast good quality all round and the best scrambled eggs I have had at a hotel. Location for getting around city and docks great for walking.
We were here to celebrate a family wedding but didn't stay in the hotel. The hotel is in a nice spot next to the Royal Liver Buildings on the River Mersey. The day went well, but it was all a little soulless, although staff were mostly pleasant. The only exception was someone who tried to convince me that to put on the Aircon in the function room we were using - which was sweltering - he would have to put the aircon on in the whole hotel. What a load of B/S! The ususal bugbear was the prices - £5+ per pint for rubbish flat Lager, despite the family having paid Thousands to have the wedding. Why do they have to do this?
Last minute business stay; clean and comfy rooms with views of docks/river if you're luck or road if you're not! Didn't have dinner but good breakfast; nice looking pool area but didn't use. Take a walk around docks or into town; can recommend MEET, Argentinian Steakhouse if you want to venture out for food, approx 5 minute walk.
