The hotel was one of the newest hotels on the strip. But the location and minor details really made the hotel a little more disappointing than it should have been. The positives: The facilities were pretty nice. The pool was great with plenty of seating. The service was great. The infinity pool and view (empty lot and construction) wasn’t that amazing, but still pretty nice. The neutral: The hotel is on the end of the strip, making walkability a little more challenging. It would have been fine, but food/bar (or shopping) options are limited. This makes the hotel options less desirable. Hopefully in the near future there will be more options in the hotel or around the area. The negative: To start the front desk staff was terrible. We waited 45 minutes to check in. The staff only focused on the platinum or preferred customer. Instead of helping guests, members of the staff went around and offered water to people in line. You definitely feel undervalued as a “regular” guest. The second issue

The staff was extremely rude from the moment we checked in. They refused to honor our VIP access, claiming they couldn’t “see our benefits in their system” because we booked through Expedia. Throughout our stay, it felt like they tried to nickel-and-dime us at every turn. We paid a huge resort fee only to discover it covered access to the family pool — while other pools required additional payment. We were also charged for minibar items we never used. Parking is expensive for the guests. Even the spa prices were significantly higher than what was listed on their website. Overall, this hotel is a total rip-off; expect to be charged double or even triple for everything once you arrive.
