I liked that Alpine Inn was quiet and kind of secluded, yet walking distance to everything in South Lake. However the property is dated, our restroom wasn't clean (trash piled up behind the toilet upon arrival and coffee and filter still in the coffeemaker), and the shower door latch was broken. The staff was friendly and quick to bring us additional towels. Okay experience for the price we paid.

Convenient location. Terrible cleanliness and management. Checked in for three day reservation. Room was infested with bed bugs. Changed rooms, dirty but apparently no bugs. Got double-booked on my last night there (they said my reservation was two days), no vacancy to move to a different room, even though my reservation was for three days. Had to leave early, couldn't find another place at that last moment. Had to go home a day early. Thanks!

I had no heat in the room. It was 16 degrees outside. There was no staff in the office and no one answered the phone. There was no one there the next morning either. No one has answered any emails. The door tothe room would not lock. Walls are paper thin. Epitome of a dump.

The A/C was not cooling the room and the front desk says there’s nothing they can do about it. After spending $500 for one night for 2 rooms, they can’t even fix the A/C units? Not good

Dirty, no customer service. Had to call to off-site customer rep. No ac, plug ins not working. Shower was gross. If you needed something no one was around to ask. Also gave us the wrong room, stay somewhere else! For $250 a night this was horrible!

The bed was comfortable. The TV didn’t work. The bathroom and refrigerator had mold.

cool hot tub. Rowdy guests. dirty rooms. the continental food area was a total mess and the dining area had of 1/2 the necessary tables and chairs to accommodate guests. Not one staff member was there to clean or organize it. we just ate in the car:) Perfect for partying 20 somethings. I wouldn't take a family there. they take advantage of the fact that people will settle for anything during peak times

I like the location. Did not like that the ice machine was broken with no sign and for some reason was very loud at this property location

There’s no spa in the “inn & spa”. Run down with police action on the property on our 1st night here.

They charged me over then what shows in my reservation with Orbitz. Never will use you guys again.

The outside area needs maintenance, hallways, stairs, etc

Nothing was great. don't book. Horrible horrible horrible

Hotel location good. Beach pass was plus but when opened the room a weird smell existed. Had to keep the door open for a while. Don’t understand why resort fee when hotel has very small outdoor pool n jacuzzi nothing else. I had some left over food n when tried to use microwave it was dead. So went to front desk for microwave they said they don’t have it. Morning breakfast has only milk , cereal n some apples. Syrup ran out n they said they don’t have another one. Seems like owner wants to save money on everything by making even AC settings beyond controllable

Window locks were broken. Room was dusty with unclean bedding. Heat was not working properly. Telephone in the room was disconnected. Left wiithin the first 30 minutes of getting there and got a different room in a different hotel.

This is an old run down hotel. There is no one available for any complains. We were unable to sleep the entire night because couple of rooms in the hotel were making a lot of noise. And each time anyone jumped or opened the doors our beds would shake. The coffee maker in the room does not work . The breakfast consists of cereals and mini muffins being passed out as continental breakfast. I would never stay at this place and would recommend the same for others too.

The electrical power is shut off TWICE in a night and we have to go down to the lobby asking someone’s help......

I apologize if you did not feel that our housekeeping met your own standards of cleanliness, though our own standards are very high and include checking up to ensure that rooms are as clean as can be.
