New furniture, remodeling is going well. Elevators have expiration date of 2018...

Hotel staff was friendly. The hotel, and room were clean, and the beds are comfortable.

The hotel was under renovation, but not an issue. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I was unhappy with was the "breakfast". I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in WV on the way to Florida and it had a full, hot breakfast buffet. So, I was quite disappointed with the "bag breakfast" offered. It contained a small box of cereal...not sure how we were supposed to eat it and a packaged danish. I'm guessing this was because of Covid. However, being that they were not supplying the hot breakfast buffet, a little more thought could've gone into the bag breakfast. Now, that being said, the rooms were furnished with a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig. So just went shopping for breakfast food and kept it in the room for the remainder of our stay. They were gracious and accommodating when I asked for more K-cups for moring coffee. Now, with that little negative out of the way, the room was cozy and comfortable. The beds, bedding and pillows were fresh and comfortable. I slept very well and comfortably. I chose this hotel because I was visiting family and it was halfway between their house and the beach. It was a little difficult to find the first night, being that it was behind a storage building. However, I like to explore and find "back roads" so I did find another way to the hotel using back roads....which was nice because it allowed me to see more of Jacksonville. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

We chose to stay here due to price and ratings that we read....however, we were highly disappointed. This property is currently undergoing remodeling. AC in our room was not consistently working. We had no cable for 2 days that we were there which was disappointing as we have twin 7 week olds and it is a great thing to have while unwinding or waiting to go back to sleep after all the overnight feeds. There were no vending machines and ice on one floor. Only tv that worked was in the gym but that too was out of order. My parents joined us for a night and first room they were given smelled heavily of mildew and first option of staff was to spray with deodorizer. Eventually parents decided it was too much as the bedding smelt like mildew as well. They were moved up to the 4th floor near us and had AC issue as well. Breakfast was good but eating area was the only cold place which then led to food getting cold fast. Overall, not my favorite hotel experience.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast was great. Even though there were a lot of people to be served. The staff worked they’re best and able to push through and succeeded.

The property is very dated and in need of an update face lift. Wallpaper is peeling in bathrooms, the carpet is torn and frayed in several places and the only ice machine is on the second floor but you have to ask for where directions - no signage. Breakfast was pitiful. They were out of everything. No muffins, no sweet rolls, pancake machine was not working properly and there was no way to have ice water because there was no ice. Tried to get a clean towel after using one from the room. Was told I had to get it from the laundry even though this person was cleaning rooms and had towels on her cart that I could see when I asked her. REALLY poor service!!

Surprisingly quiet despite proximity to interstate.

Clean room , the environment is quiet and nice . Good breakfast , i used their gym Every thing i need was there. I went for a wedding so i didnt ask for beach or any other thing

People were great. Breakfast was average. Room (317) was very nice but bathroom had lots of mold which could very easily be gone with Scrubbing Bubbles with bleach.

Decent hotel but room smelled of cigarettes and not very clean

Room smelled musty and moldy. Carpet was very old. Bathroom had its own moldy smell. Shampoo bottles were cheap and didn’t even work. They changed rooms but the next room was equally bad. Manager agreed on the smell and old carpets. Air conditioning was inconsistent. It said the temperature was 55 degrees F, but it was probably 75 or so. Ac made sounds and shut on and off inconsistently. Will think a hundred times before staying at a Holiday Inn again.

We came in for 2 nights to attend family event in Jax. The hotel was fine, room was clean and we were comfortable. The staff could have been friendlier & more accommodating. At times reception desk was left unattended while a staff member stepped away. One staff member watched tv a few feet away from the reception area while customers waited to check in. Not sure if they were on break. It was an uneventful stay that served its purpose. Staff could use training in customer relations.

It was Jst okay hotel, they were doing repair while we stayed there.

when I arrived, there was only one person working.

Spacious, clean room (no carpets which I love!) Very friendly staff and generous continental breakfast.

Hotel is located right off of interstate, however it is a little awkward getting to hotel since there is no light at the intersection. Room was clean, except for a dirty rag that was left in the bathroom (assuming the cleaning staff just missed it). Overall not bad, but slightly overpriced.
