If it wasn't booked elsewhere, I would have left. had to wash my clothes twice and left stinking like a nasty cigarette. room smelt bad so they transferred me to another room upstairs inside that was also a never non smoking room. wrong. it was even worse. if you want to smell good i don't recommend this hotel. reiks of smoke
Love the upgrades, looks great, but floor patch bad at the door, house keeping bad. Floor dirty, bugs??? not bed bugs, I checked. Something bite me all day and night. small and white. Edge of table sticky, bed spread sticky. Didn't sleep in bed, tried laying on top where not sticky.
Everyone there is so polite & awesome! They even gave me some breakfast snacks since they aren’t serving breast’s due to the virus. I will definitely come back for the jetted tub & the amazing staff. Thanks for making us feel welcomed and getting everything we needed!
Really liked the wet bar area in the main room. Kept the coffee out of the bathroom and away from clothing. Room was clean and updated. Bathroom was small. Back exterior entrance was a solid steel door, very unwelcoming, not sure if we were entering the main hotel or a service area. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The guest services attendant was very warm and welcoming. The condition of the room and facilities left a lot to be desired. There are numerous other options in the local area that are higher quality and same price point. I only stayed here due proximity to where I was working, but left after the first night.
Room was pretty big but had a really bad smell. Bed covers were not clean.
The room was very spacious and had a jetted tub. I could have stayed forever.
The hotel was not clean, in any sense of the word, and upon entering our room, the smell almost made me gag.
Hotel Staff nice. Manager did refund the total cost. The room was disgusting. The bed sheets had stains.
Upon arrival we were asked to give a $50 cash deposit which was not stated to us over the phone. They should have let us know ahead of time and we would have already had the cash instead of having to go hunt down an ATM machine after driving all the way from Chicago, Illinois. At first the desk clear said he would wave the fees then he changed his mind. We got the $50 back upon leaving the hotel. The hotel is very nice and comfortable however we could not get a steady phone signal and no one that came to visit us could get a clear phone signal while there. We all had to go out side to use the phone and saw several other hotel guest doing the same thing. Other than that, the hotel is great. Clean laundry room. I didn't notice anything dirty about the hotel. Kinda old carpet but ok.
The hotel needs cleaning, upgrades. The room had a filthy sofa. Linens had to be changed. Kitchenette was a joke.
It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept (or not) in. There were also roaches crawling on the wall....
I arrived late (9 PM) to check in (we were attending a wedding early the next day) and I requested a crib for my 9 month old infant since Days Inn are children friendly and their policy is Children Stay Free. First, they do not have cribs. None. Their solution was to have my infant sleep on the pullout bed in the couch. We winded up pulling the couch mattress off to lay it on the floor for the baby, but really it was a terrible solution. Second, they were pushing a 30 mile radius policy, that if you lived within 30 miles of the hotel. they REQUIRED a $50 CASH deposit for the stay. I live in Far Northwest Houston, which is 50 miles away (even though my address says Houston) and who has $50 cash on them these days? (No where on the booking does it say they require this absurd deposit) I told them to hold it on my credit card and they said they couldn't do it. Finally, the clerk said she'd waive it but to be asked for it in the first place was ludicrous. They need to update their information and add cribs to their inventory if they still want to market themselves as a children friendly hotel.
Clean and quiet except for the room A/C which was rather loud. Well located for space centre visit.
