Relaxing outdoor atmosphere with many trees, creek for fishing, hiking. Cabin sits on 17 acres with lots of beautiful trees; sleeps 4-5; kitchenette; bath with shower; loft upstairs bedroom with king size bed. Downstairs futon pops out to a comfortable double bed. A rolloway bed is also available.

Several outdoor sitting areas with wrap around deck, television, both gas & charcoal grill, plus smoker at the grilling area. Perfect for a quiet vacation away from the hustle & bustle! Outdoor amenities include fire pit (unless the burn ban is in effect), Fishing, horseshoes, great area for hiking! Farm animals include longhorns, goats, chickens, ducks.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Great stay , great communication from host , incredible Texas hospitality . My family and I had an amazing time. The only possible thing that could have made the stay better was if our dog was able to be outside with us all the time, they have beautiful sweet doggie on the property but our dog is just skittish and kept getting intimidated so he was not able to enjoy the outdoors with us. 10/10 would stay here again and leave the pup at home. You won’t be disappointed with this sweet sweet Texas property.

Wonderful getaway

Wonderful cabin on sprawling property, this rental was just what I needed to get a mental break. Depending on your mood for the day you can sit under the covered porch in a rocking chair, or go on an adventure across the creek to see the longhorns and take a hike. The owners are wonderful people that really work to male your stay special.

Perfect Home away from Home

The photos can’t capture the tranquility of the location and coziness of the house.The location is breathtaking. It’s spacious and serene. If you are looking for a place to escape the rush of the everyday this is the spot to enjoy and reset. There are a lot of activities to do, there’s sitting areas outside, horseshoes and a creek nearby. The pond is also nice to enjoy.The house has many amenities needed for your stay. There’s a kitchen with refrigerator able to fit some beverages and some groceries. We cooked breakfast the few days we were there. There are many restaurants about 2-3 miles away from the house. Marylin’s (our host) recommendations were good choices. This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway and I definitely recommend staying here.I appreciate Marylin’s quick response to my questions and her checking to make sure we arrived safely and to ask if we needed anything. Overall a pleasant stay! Looking forward to returning.

Great way to clear your head

I chose this location as a place to clear my mind after a traumatic event in my personal life. Not only were the hosts very kind and gracious, but the location was perfect. I was able to explore the grounds and visit the animals and go on some nice hikes in the woods. It was relaxing and exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this property.

A Hidden Gem

This cabin is beyond wonderful. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful. There are plenty of activities, amenities, and hidden gems throughout the property. Best rental on VRBO I've stayed at!

I mean it when I say this is the best rental we have stayed at! Marilyn and Johnny were extremely welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Not to mention, some of the friendliest people you will meet!. The cabin is exactly as pictured/ described in the listing. It's cozy, and the fire pit is very enjoyable on colder nights. The creek is beautiful and very clear when it doesn't rain. If you have kids, the animals on the property are a great plus. The pond along with the creek makes for good fishing options if you are into it. I did not get the opportunity to get some bites, but will definitely try my hand on our next stay. There is plenty of outdoor space to spread out or play with kids and pets, plus a newly cut trail along the creek to explore. The multiple grills make for versatile cooking depending on if you prefer smoking, charcoal or gas. Last but not least, the location is awesome! Fort Worth, Grapevine and Dallas are all very reasonable commutes, and grocery stores/ restaurants are only 10 min away! Overall you can't go wrong here!

Incredible, western style ranch

Property is amazing. Just about 45 minutes from dallas, 20 minutes from Fort Worth and DFW. You get a full west Texas feel, the owners are amazing. They’ve got great dogs, animals and the property is amazing. We built a fire every day, the house is perfect for a couple who want to get away. Will absolutely be back!
