It was Ok, but Kemah boardwalk closes all shops so there really is nothing to do unless you drive. I won’t stay there again. That’s a lot of money on a hotel that offers nothing for its customers.

The hotel sits right on the boardwalk. Its surrounded by restaurants and rollercoasters. The hotel's location is convenient for a quick trip to Houston and Galveston Island. The hotel staff exhibited great customer service.

The location was perfect for what I needed (booking a sailboat sunset cruise out of Kemah) but the facilities fell well below what I would expect from a property owned by Mr. Tilman Fertitta. I don't think it's been updated in over 25 years. They are currently adding on another "experience / amenity" to the board walk, but my recommendation would be to first invest in updated the current facilities. It needs new carpet, a fresh coat of paint etc.... just overall TLC. It felt like things were operating within a very tight budget with minimal staff. I never saw a cleaning cart, no bell hops, no parking attendants or door men, just a single person at the front desk

It still amazes me how much things are misrepresented on the internet. From paid reviews to absolutely way-outdated “photos” of properties. This property has so many flaws that I don’t know where to start. Please save yourself the disappointment and gamble on another property.
