Did not have to go to the front desk to check in. After making the reservation they sent me the room number and door code. We found this to be a very good way to check in. The room was very clean. At first we were a little apprehensive because there was writing all over the interior door and some writing on the walls. In the end, with the swinging doors leading into the bathroom we found our stay at The Texan motel to be very enjoyable. 👍👍

Room was clean and ready. Motel is quite old and it shows, but overall a cool place. Very unique motel and rooms. Right next to the restaurant which is convenient. Gift shop is very good. Would stay here again.

Terrible. Our next door “neighbors” were very loud and obnoxious. Tried to call the front desk. There is no phone. Asked the front desk for help With the TV. Said they’d be “right up”. Never saw them. Disgustingly dirty, loud, bad lighting. Don’t stay here !!! The photos are deceiving.

Room was clean but one of the beds in the room had springs that woke you up when you moved while sleeping. Miserable. Found a small roach on the bed also. Did not know there was breakfast available. Did not like the idea of not seeing a person when checking in or out of room.

Big texan

No breakfast but have a restaurant next door. The big texan restaurant is a fun environment and we stop driving through texas. This time stayed at their hotel, which was perfect. Will stay again

A very charming motel and steakhouse/ brewery. Check in was very easy since all the info was texted to me ahead of time. Very clean. Decorated very nice and unique. The steakhouse was phenomenal. We had a great time with no complaints.
