This was our 2nd stay and our room this time was much better overall. The parking was still an issue, but the ice machine was working (opposed to last visit the week prior). I do like the ease of getting in and our of your room without need to go to the office.

This motel is a simple room for a decent price. However, the parking lot is always overflowing with visitors to the next door Big Texan steakhouse making finding a spot very difficult for those staying. This was an issue both times we stayed (one week apart). On the first visit the ice machine did not work and our room felt and looked a little worn down.

We had a chance to stay here in both directions of our trip, once in the suite (very large and comfy) and once in a deluxe room (also comfortable). They went out of their way to make sure the spaces worked for our two dogs and were very attentive to us! A fun place to stay.

This was a very nice clean comfortable room. Ample parking. Fairly easy to get to considering Texas’s weird streets. There was a lot of litter around the parking lot

Quick stop. Neat hotel with cowboy decor. K cups for coffee was a nice touch. We couldn’t find any ice. Love the easy check in procedure.

Bed and room comfortable, check in was contactless which worked out very well for us. We arrived 4 hours later than planned d/t weather, so the keyless entry was a nice feature. There was some noise from the interstate, but a fan in the room blocked it.

Check in and check out was all remote so never spoke to anyone in person (nor did I need to). Room was clean and comfortable and looked recently updated. The reason for the 3 stars is that we got little sleep due to the traffic noise as the hotel is right along side the interstate. Could be the rooms further back might be quieter.

Unfortunately, the hotel is under renovation and for people in their late 60's to not have an option for a ground floor unit is poor customer service. Once the room was available the painters had to seal off the door and paint our unit's door. The paint fumes were seeping under the door so I needed to place the decorative pillows on the floor to inhibit the fumes from entering our room. Ice maker broken. Stairs very rusted and felt unstable in places. Our dog was so frightened that i had to carry him up the stairs to the second level. I guess u get what u pay for as the price of the room seemed inexpensive while booking. Very disappointed.
