Courtyard by Marriott Amarillo Downtown

It looks like this was a great hotel many years ago, because the visible reminiscences of older glory times. Elevators with scratches on the doors, old and used floor buttons, carpets on the asiles dirty... the mattress was bumpy, and no usb ports at the room (Now at any good hotel you can find those). So my visit was a big disappointment for this hotel. It may take no much effort to make it a better place, but for my future trips to Amarillo, I will search other option.

This was the last night of vacation so we decided to stay downtown to be in walking distance from restaurants and lounges. The Courtyard was a great choice! The hotel is nice and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The staff was helpful in providing information about places in the immediate area and they were very pleasant. The bartender in the lounge was great! She provided excellent service! I would recommend the Courtyard and will stay there again if I need a room in Amarillo!

LOVE the location. Onsite parking garage wasn't the handiest, but most spaces were covered. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was clean and fresh. The hotel was lovely. The only downside was the Bistro. Wine glasses were water spotted, pastries weren't up to par. Food was very disappointing, though I only ate one dinner there. Bistro staff was very friendly. I will absolutely stay here when I'm in Amarillo again and I'll retry the Bistro as I really believe the staff wants it to be a good place to eat and visit.

I attend the Civic Center frequently for shows and events. The night I stayed at the Marriot in Downtown Amarillo I was attending the symphony. The hotel was conveniently located a few block away from the venue so it was a breeze to get to and out of the event. The hotel room was clean and had all the amenities , well laid out. However, the best thing about that hotel is the staff, they were well trained , polite and very professional. The only negative thing I encountered was their wireless internet access was not working. I will definitely stay there again.

Just used this place as a stopover on a road trip. Great facilities for the price and good for a quick stay.

This hotel is very new and nice. Very comfortable and feels like home. Clean. Water pressure in shower could be better though.

We were in town visiting family. It was a lovely room and the front desk staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

I recommend this hotel. No trouble parking. Clean. Comfy. Nice staff.

As former Amarillo residents, we were interested in the renovation of this historic building. The photos on the website for his hotel do not accurately represent the facility. Parking is very inconvenient, and check-in is very difficult. There is no assistance available for luggage. The hotel is surrounded by dilapidated, run-down and vacant buildings and businesses. We would never recommend this to anyone. We are not the type of people who respond to a request for an evaluation. We just felt that we had to in this situation because it is so deceptive.

We stayed here on our wedding night and the hotel was flawless. Parking was kinda a pain but not too bad. We loved it

At the Courtyard, we had a great stay, the room was clean and staff was friendly. Not to mention we had a good view of Amarillo.

The location was amazing, parking convenient, rooms were beautiful and comfortable. However the front desk staff was awful! They were rude and barely knew what was going on. When we checked in they were short with us as if we inconvenienced them. The next morning my husband went downstairs to buy waters and they were rude again! The housekeeper was the only staff member who was sweet and friendly.

I was disappointed with this reservation when I found out that I could get a lower price (senior's discount etc) by going directly to the hotel rather than through your company. Furthermore, I can get hotel points and can cancel with refund if I leave early (as I attempted to do) only if I book directly with the hotel but not through your organization. I learned a valuable lesson - don't use cheap on line travel agencies. Sorry to be so honest.

Beautiful room. Everything you need to work from there and within walking distance to just about every place you may need to go downtown. Parking (covered, multi level) and Internet is free. Usually neither is with upscale hotels, so this annoyance was not there. Convenient 15 - 20 minutes to the airport. Kind of awkward after checking to move car to final space and then go from car and then to room, but I may not have found the best route after parking. Suggest asking staff the best way to do this or just leave bags at the front desk while you park.

The hotel is an ennjoyable place to stay in the downtown area. The staff, comfort, and decor made for our stay one to remember.

Everything was very clean and the room was nice. The only disappointment was that I paid extra for a corner room but they placed on the corner that had a nice view of the parking garage and an alley way. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

The room we got did not have a good view. But everything else was great. The parking lot is great and secure.

Located in an historic building, hotel was very updated. Room was excellent. Parking is included in garage.

The rooms are clean and the location is great. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

We enoyed our room, it was extremely clean and was comfortable.
