Stop for over night. Olif was at the desk when I got here. He is very helpful, got to the room it was super clean, great shower, bed wonderful. Great about of TV channels. Had breakfast wonderful choices. Lady doing breakfast keeps it very clean. Thank you for a great stay. See you again.😀
Originally I was supposed to stay one night at this hotel. But, car problems extended the stay to six nights. I would like to thank the staff for being extremely kind to this guest. The first member of the staff that assisted me was Oliva. She was very understanding to my situation. Each morning she greeted me with a smile and a hello. Then she asked how things we going. She helped me to extend my stay. The second staff member was Olaf. He was also very understanding to my situation. He also greeted me with a hello and smile when I spoke with him at the desk. Also, he helped with extending my stay. The housekeeping here does a great job of cleaning the rooms. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The microwave and refrigerator worked as intended. I would definitely stay here again.
I have stayed at many of the motels in Amarillo over the years. I believe I found my "go to" motel. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. Parking was safe and well lit. Cracker Barrel right next door was a plus. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Can't remember the girls name that checked me in BUT said she'd only been there a few weeks and was one of the sweetest check in people I've dealt with in a long time. So helpful and accommodating. Better keep her, she's good for your business!!!!
While driving home to Florida from the Grand Canyon, I stopped here with my family for an overnight stay on a Friday evening. Check in was quick and easy, the room was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. We got a great nights sleep and a decent breakfast before checking out and getting back on the road. A big thank you to Olaf. Two hours after departing I realized I left my camera battery and charger in the room. I called the hotel and Olaf put me on hold while he ran up to the room to check. He found it verified my address and said they will get it in the mail. That's service!
We recently stayed at the Sleep Inn Airport on our way through Amarillo. Rooms were basic but clean. Breakfast was average with some hot and cold items available. The indoor pool was cold but the hot tub was just right. Great for the price you pay.
My husband stayed here last night and said it was wonderful. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and comfy bed. He has back problems from botched prior surgery, but he said he slept very well on their bed. We will stay here any time we are in Amarillo. Once the construction is completed, it will be so much easier to get off the highway to this property.
Clean room, good breakfast, good service at check-in and check-out. Will stay here my next trip through Texas. Trains do not bother me but some people may be annoyed by the trains. Easy access of I-40 even with the current road work.
Choice Hotels location which is quiet and convenient for visiting Palo Duro Canyon. Check-in was quick, the breakfast selection was excellent and the room was clean. My shower head dripped and the television volume went from low to loud with one click, but overall it's a good choice for a solo traveler.
Easy to get to location and close to restaurants. Rooms were okay for the stay. Pool and spa area a little disappointing. Normal Sleep Inn breakfast type was good but food was being re-filled and was cold. Believe the front desk person was handling this so it was not being staffed appropriately. Good value hotel for an overnight stay.
First off, the hotel gal who checked us in was very friendly and professional. The hotel was listed as a smoke-free property online, but it didn't smell like that at all. Maybe the hotel allowed smoking before the remodel? Anyway, that was hard to get past, but it was just one night on our way back from Colorado. Appropriate price for size. We arrived late for check in, had dinner next door at cracker Barrell, but didn't get to use pool, as it closed at 10pm. We stayed on the west side of the hotel, and it was quiet. Breakfast was so so, interesting combinations of items. Hash browns were soggy, biscuits were hard, eggs were a patty, but the danish items were good. Small area to sit at, felt rushed to allow other families to eat bc they were waiting. Overall fair priced hotel, no frills.
