Very run down. In the room there was plaster falling off ceiling, numerous cracks on walls, plumbing fixtures loose. But most disconcerting were the bugs (small roaches?) crawling all over my stuff when I set it down on the table next to the TV
The staff at my check in didn't know what they were doing. They charged my card again although I had prepaid online. They had no idea how to handle these online reservations and the lady said it's a "hassle" when customers use these services. The "breakfast" was insulting. It's advertised to be "served" from 6-9 am. However, we were there at 7:30 am and the ONLY thing in there was 4 tiny store bought pinwheel cinnamon rolls. There was no coffee, no cereal, nothing. Not was it even evident there had been. The rooms were clean but there was no hygeine products in the bathroom besides Kleenex. I guess you get what you pay for.
It didnt have bugs. The bed was filtht the staff was absolutely rude.
Just old and run down. You get what.you pay for. Whole second floor of property is uninhabitable and closed.
You cannot beat the value. Lady at the front seat was super helpful.
The lobby look like a Haunted castle with couches from the 70's. There were crackheads around the hotel in which one approached my 15 yr old son trying to sell him baby clothes from a suitcase. I ordered a room through Orbitz after 1 am and scheduled it for the 9th since it was technically the 9th (after 12 am) the lady wouldnt give me a room until 3 pm! I called Orbitz to cancel and get a refund and they promised TWICE to call me or email me about it and NOTHING! I slept in my car! ORBITZ was an awful experience. NEVER AGAIN> DONT DO IT! ORBITS or this Hotel!!!
Filthy, smelly, rude people. Lacks almost all of the basic things you would want in a hotel.
This is a tough review to write. Let's start with...I would stay there again. It is an OLD hotel, but not in the charming way. It hasn't seen maintenance or a deep cleaning in a very long time (years, maybe decades). But, the room itself was "clean". The quotes are because there was no sign of a prior visitor (unlike a recent stay at a $300/night Wyndham in CA where there was a giant wad of hair in the shower and the toilet had stale urine in it!), the sheets were fresh/clean, the floor had been vacuumed, etc. I don't know the area, but I felt safe. You get what you pay for! I would not stay there with my family, but if I were driving across country by myself again and looking to save money, I would stay again.
The place is decent and cheap for a short stay with close access to the highway. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The mattress was too firm to sleep on and the hallways constantly smelled like smoke. The sofa in the room need dusting and the bed cover needs to be washed as well. The room is spacious though and quiet
Smell was horrid. Stairs are loose. Woman who checked me in was polite but DRY.. NO SMILE. She somewhat angrily stated.... NO GUESTS NO VISITORS NO LEAVING ANYONE ELSE IN THE ROOM. Wiped off the nightstand with a Huggins wipe... disgusting.! Bed was sunken in..didn't sleep well from that...it made my back hurt..the noise from the heater is scary and kept me up as well. Cost was $39.50... These owners should stop being cheap and at least get on Motel6 level. This place is like a huge castle but looks and smells and is run down like a brothel.
