$200 for a room that was dirty. The AC sounded like a leaf blower. All night there was a banging noise coming from inside a wall (pipes maybe). You could hear every step from people in nearby rooms. I finally gave up on sleep, packed up, and checked out at 4:45 AM. The desk clerk didn't bother to ask how the stay was. It was clear she knew it was crap, and it was even more clear that she didn't care.
We picked this for a last minute stay in Amarillo primarily because it’s location, but also for the indoor pool. We were disappointed that the pool renovation wasn’t advertised on the orbitz website because our kids were very sad not to swim. They gave us a partial refund, which was great. Besides the pool, the hotel was very clean, conveniently located, had a great breakfast selection, and my kids loved having Netflix on the tv. We’d stay here again!

There are so many lovely touches; fancy radio/alarm/phone dock, beautiful wallpaper in the bathroom, and the smell of fresh paint. But, I would rather have hot water, microwave in the room, and customer service that didn't take ten minutes to show up and then give me attitude. Plus, charge for parking when other customers were not. Yes, I asked.

It’s time to serve a real breakfast not a cheap sack lunch. I think some hotels like to keep the covid procedures that actually saved them money.
