Welcome to the Barstow retreat! We aren’t new at hosting and I promise we won’t let you down! Suitable for travelers near and far, short or semi-long term and perfect for kids and families. We welcome you to our retreat in City View on a street that feeds directly into South Loop 335 for easy access. Just minutes away from shopping, eating, Palo Duro Canyon state Park, West Texas A&M, I-27 and much more. Open concept house features 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, garage access for your convenience, relaxing back patio, fully stocked kitchen and laundry! This house is warm and cozy and makes you feel right at home.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Absolutely wonderful!! We had gone to Red River NM then stopped at this place a couple nights on the way home for our baby girls 1st birthday. The Amarillo place wound up being our favorite part of the whole trip! Thank y’all so much for letting us stay Highly recommend!

We were visiting our daughter and her family in Amarillo and this was the perfect house for us to gather in together. It was very clean, plenty of room in the kitchen/living room to hang out and visit, the kitchen was stocked with all appliances and utensils that we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is very convenient off the 335 loop. Kara was attentive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Barstow Retreat for three days while in Amarillo for a family funeral. Time with Family / Scavenger Hunt

This home is: Located in a clean neighborhood. Access to shopping, medical facilities, restaurants, fueling stations, and entertainment is a huge plus. Once inside you feel immediately at ease, getting you ready for a great homey feeling for your entire stay. Each of the rooms have their own unique style. The furnishings and decorations demonstrate the creativity and thought into what the owner wanted to convey. The exterior front and back are well tended and kept. My wife and I along with my eldest daughter and her husband were very comfortable here. We enjoyed our time as friends without "kids" interrupting every five minutes. This is out 1st choice for our next visit to Amarillo.

Perfect for going to Canyon and Center City

This is the perfect place to base out of for hiking trips to Palo Duro Canyon. Center City is only minutes away for Sod Poodles games. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights over a weekend to be close to Palo Duro Canyon. The location is close and the neighborhood is quiet which is great if you've been out hiking all day and want to relax in the evening. Everything was as described and the property is fully furnished. The property owner reached out to me a few days before our stay to see if there was anything we needed and she was easy to contact if we ever did. We would stay here again.
